Aztec Ocean Resort

"We stayed here for 3 nights and will absolutely return! The staff were very nice. They don’t clean the room everyday but the cleaning staff are present, helpful and available to get you anything you need. Everyone was honestly so sweet. The room was clean, the bed frames are metal which I really appreciated to reduce the likelihood of unwanted bugs of which there were none. The beds were comfortable. We brought our own pillows because we are old enough to get stiff necks but the pillows they provided seemed cushy enough. The shower was my favorite part. It felt like a luxury to have the rainshower, mister, handheld shower combo after a long day on the beach. Just a note to bring a stopper to block the drain if you need the tub. This is a problem in almost every hotel we visit so we just travel with one now but it could easily be purchased at the CVS down the road. Almost everything you need is in walking distance. We brought some paper bowls, spoons, Cheerios and milk and ate them on the picnic table overlooking the boardwalk every morning since breakfast options were limited at normal 5 y/o wake up time. Our kids loved the pool! It was a little chilly for us old folks but nothing you can’t get used to. I really liked the turf around the pool; cozy on the feet and the blue and green together just looked so much nicer than the usual concrete patio. You can’t beat the location. Boardwalk rides, arcade, restaurants, waterpark all within a block or 2. Can’t wait to return!"

"We had a wonderful stay at Rocco’s house! It’s a cute, updated place and fully stocked. Very clean too. Check in and check out was seamless. The host is also very responsive. The location is perfect, easy quick walk to the beach. Would definitely consider coming back to stay!"

"Amazing location! If you love the beach, this is the place for you. Just walk out the door, over the dunes, and you're there - no shoes needed!The house was comfortable and tastefully decorated. TV in every room. Comfortable beds. With 3 bedrooms and 2 baths our family of 6 had plenty of space.But the huge outside deck is certainly a plus! You can even watch the Seaside boardwalk fireworks from it. You unfortunately can't see the beach because of the dunes.The owner was attentive and returned calls quickly. He even ordered a new BBQ grill and had it delivered the next day.Wish list- the sofa is dated and well used (it is a rental unit after all) . There's plenty of seating outside, but new cushions would make it perfect.Definitely recommend and hope to return!"

"It was a lovely week with my family of 5. We even said we could've invited a few friends for the extra beds. It was great to be 1/2 block from the beach, we just went back and forth. Check in and check out were effortless. The host was ready for any questions we had, he even let us bring out dog at the last minute for an additional fee. Which was 1/2 the price of a boarding him. Would go back in a heartbeat!"
