"Hotel Radar is perfect for a weekend getaway on the beach! Our only complaint was that the AC wasn't working in our room in the middle of a heat wave. Overall we would stay here again!"
"Lovely hotel very close to the beach with plenty of places to eat and drink close by. There is a bus stop right outside the hotel and itās just 10 minute walk to the railway station. The staff were very friendly and helpful and there was a very good breakfast served until 12. The rooms were nicely decorated and clean."
"Our stay at Cal Del Sole was amazing! As a family of five with three small kids, Cal Del Sole was absolutely perfect! They took the best aspects of staying at āan inclusive resort from the Caribbeanā and gave it the quintessential Italian flair. Our Rimini stop of our trip was particularly special because we had celebrated a milestone wedding anniversary. Cal Del Sole was the nice and chill getaway we needed. The kids loved their kids club and pool amenities. The kids club staff were so great and friendly with the kids. The beach is nicely maintained and a good mix of areas to relax, take a stroll or play various activities.
Although Cal Del Sol is not near the city centre, the bus runs regularly and not a long ride. If you had to walk to the city centre it took us about 40-minutes. It is a straight route and safe to do at night. If you bike, Rimini is a bike friendly town.
There is still a lot to explore in Rimini and hope to return someday.
Grazie Mille for helping make our first visit to Rimini a memorable and positive experience."
"The Grand Hotel Rimini is a stunningly gorgeous hotel at a prime spot along the Rimini coastline. The service is top notch, the pool is lovely, and the beach area is perfect. The breakfast buffet is very nice and the people working there provide attentive and personal service. The hotel also offers cute bikes that you can use without charge. I'm not in the habit of tipping cleaning staff but I made an exception since my cleaning staff member was superb and consistent through my stay. I would say this hotel earns its five-star status. Wi-fi service is spotty, not good enough to have a zoom call. It is weak and drops constantly in the room. Wi-fi is better in common areas and I was not the only one using my laptop in the hallway. The room (#410) also had a musty smell that appeared to be systemic and unaffected by the excellent cleaning service. My nose adjusted within a few minutes each time I entered but it's not a great first impression."
"Stylish modern hotel with friendly and responsive staff in every department. Excellently positioned with easy walking distance to the shops, restaurants, beach, old town and railway station.
Front office staff management succeded in following every request pertaining to the 3 rooms we were allocated and all reception staff friendly and obliging throughout. My mother has mobility restrictions so the well apportioned, meticulously prepared rooms with walk-in shower, suited our needs perfectly.
The breakfast buffet was extensive, excellently presented and an abundance of staff to assist.
All in all, extremely impressive, great value and I am keen to re-visit."
"An excellent hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. An excellent breakfast buffet also. Although it is a short bus ride from the town centre the beach is two minutes away and it is very close to a number of restaurants"
"Extremely helpful and friendly front office staff. I needed a printout and they did it for me.
Just accross from the beaches. Very lavish breakfast and surprised that they also encourage you to take foodstuff out from the dining area for lunch!.
Will come again."
The best time to go to Montelicciano is during the late spring (May-June) or early autumn (September-October) when the weather is pleasant for exploring.
Late spring offers comfortable temperatures, typically ranging from 18°C to 25°C, with the countryside in full bloom. This is ideal for enjoying outdoor activities like cycling through the rolling hills or leisurely walks to nearby hilltop towns. The longer daylight hours also allow for more extensive sightseeing.
Early autumn brings slightly cooler temperatures, usually between 15°C and 22°C, and the landscape is painted with beautiful autumnal colours. This period is superb for food and wine enthusiasts, as it coincides with harvest season.
