"Hotel is in a very small village on lake adjacent to Lake Como -- easy to Milan about 45 min and to other villages and Lake Como about 30 min. Lovely staff, nice, comfortable rooms that are well appointed and gorgeous bathrooms. Not much to do in the immediate area so don't expect to walk around a cute town, but the hotel has a solid restaurant with a good breakfast and nice dinner dishes overlooking the lake. "

"The property was a unique, family run B&B. The hosts were awesome, very helpful and kind, Giacomo was amazing offering suggestions for exploring the areas around Lake Como, dining options and historical sites in the region.The property and grounds were very well maintained. The pool and garden was a great way to wind down after a day of exploring. On our last day we noticed our rental car had a flat tire, the hosts called one of their friends to repair the tire and escorted us to the shop to get it fixed. "Me and my family stayed here for a week to go to my brother’s wedding up in Belagio. This place is beautiful and the view is also amazing from the dock. Luciano and his wife were very welcoming and accommodated all of our needs as much as they could. Breakfast options was also great. The locals are very friendly , I befriended two of the local business owners around the area as well. The room we stayed in was the biggest one in the top , we loved the sun roofs. Overall the room service was also great. I definitely recommend Don Abbondio. "

"The staff was unbelievable. So sweet and helpful. We were supposed to stay one night and extended a second. There is a super cute area that is walking distance. The hotel is quiet and beautiful. The restaurants and views are amazing. Renting a boat around the area is also super easy. 10/10! Oh and they are kid and dog friendly. The only thing is I wish the pool was better positioned but whatever. "
