Luxury villa with a private pool, scenic views, and plenty of peace and quiet in Montauroux

Less than 25 minutes from Cannes, 30 minutes from Grasse, and 45 minutes from Nice, our charming villa is located in Montauroux. A place for those seeking the authentic South of France, but with comfort, privacy, space, and high standards. We rent out our home for only a limited number of weeks each year.

The villa is quietly situated on a hill, on a luxurious estate, with stunning views and plenty of privacy. Yet you’re not isolated here: the village of Montauroux, good bakeries, restaurants, an ice cream shop, and large supermarkets like Leclerc and Lidl are about a 10-minute drive away.

The house is spacious, bright, and warm, and has been decorated by an interior designer. Since we live here ourselves for much of the year, it’s not a bare holiday home, but a fully and stylishly furnished home. Imagine a large living room with French doors, plenty of light, a cosy fireplace, a Sonos music system, Dutch TV with Netflix, and a cosy kitchen featuring an oven, microwave, air fryer, slow cooker, food processor, American-style refrigerator with an ice maker, and a high-quality bean-to-cup coffee machine for your cup of coffee on the patio. There is also a washing machine and dryer on site.

There are 3 double bedrooms with 1 large bathroom and a separate shower room. The house comfortably accommodates 6 people.

Several seating areas have been created both indoors and outdoors, allowing you to truly be together here without getting in each other’s way. The spacious veranda features a large dining table with 8 comfortable chairs. There are also several lounge areas, including a separate small terrace with a comfortable bench near two of the bedrooms.

Through the garden, you can walk to the 10 x 5-meter pool, which features a spacious terrace, luxury lounge chairs with cushions, and a large umbrella. The pool is maintained weekly. The water is heated by the sun and remains at a very pleasant temperature during the summer months. There is also an outdoor shower.

The property is over 2,000 m² and fully fenced. There is plenty of space to play, relax, or play badminton (set provided). Parking is available on the property, with 2 large carports and additional parking space inside or just outside the gate. The entrance gates are automatic and can be operated remotely.

The surroundings are just as special as the house itself. The forest begins right next to the house, where you can walk for hours without running into anyone. Ideal for those who love hiking, peace, and nature. Nearby is also a beautiful, large freshwater lake with beaches, restaurants, pedal boats, stand-up paddleboarding, and canoes. It’s said to be a true angler’s paradise, but since we aren’t much into fishing, I can’t speak to that. Perfect for families, couples, or friends who want to alternative between the pool, nature, small villages, and the Côte d’Azur. There are also many great restaurants in the area.

Within an hour’s drive, you can reach places like Cannes, Antibes, Grasse, Saint-Paul-de-Vence, Èze, Nice, and all sorts of charming mountain villages in the Var. The region still feels authentic and relaxed, without mass tourism or modern concrete blocks.
This is a home for people who want luxury without the fuss, peace and quiet without being isolated, and to experience France as you hope it still exists.

Check-in day does not necessarily have to be on Saturday and can be arranged by mutual agreement. Minimum stay of 7 nights.
