Quaint 1 bedroom situated in the heart of Montauk. Walk to town, Navy Beach, or the Surf Lodge. Fully renovated to accommodate 1 - 4 people. Cottage has 1 bedroom, living room with full sized sleeper-sofa, kitchen , bathroom and outdoor patio with ample yard facing the lake. Perfect Montauk Cottage on the Lake

We stayed for a week with our small dog. Before arrival, Danny was extremely responsive with any questions and check in was a breeze. The cottage was very welcoming and decorated in charming nautical decor. The location is serene and private, with beautiful water views and plenty of outdoor space in the yard area. The cottage was clean, well-equipped, and perfect for a relaxing escape. The location was great too! Highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind in Montauk!

Amazing stay!

Our stay in the property was perfect! The house had huge windows overlooking the lake, and the outside area had plenty of spots to sit and relax. The house was so clean and equipped with everything we needed. The location was perfect, and we were walking distance to some spots like Navy Beach and the Surf Lodge. There were plenty of bikes for us to ride as well. Definitely recommend staying here!

This cottage is a gem. Situated on Fort Pond Lake, it offers an incredible view through large living room windows that immediately put us at ease. Even though it rained for the first few days of our stay, we never felt like we were missing out on a beach vacation—watching the mist roll over the water and the light shift on the lake was its own kind of magic. The cottage itself was cozy, clean, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed to cook and enjoy meals at home. From the well-equipped kitchen to the peaceful setting, every detail made our stay feel relaxed and restorative. We’re already dreaming about our next visit.

Perfect Montauk Escape!

Amazing experience! It was close to town, has everything you need. The host is extremely welcoming, accommodating and responsive. The house is clean and peaceful and is the perfect summer spot right on the water. We appreciated the welcome binder too with friendly reminder on trash, wifi and spots in town. We will be back next summer!

Perfect all around!

We couldn’t have had a better stay. The cottage was cozy and the yard right on the lake was perfect for kayaking, grilling, morning coffee or an evening drink, and hanging around the fire pit. WiFi was sufficient for working from home. Convenient location close to town - walkable if you want to get a little exercise in, and very short walk to music at the Surf Lodge. Thank you, Danny for sharing the cottage with us!

Montauk cabin on the lake

We had a wonderful weekend in Montauk. The cabin was perfectly situated on the lake. Coffee outside each morning while sitting on the outdoor chairs on the grassy bank in the brilliant sunshine was just what we needed. A trip to the beach for a day on Saturday was easy and accessible. Restaurants were enjoyable on the bay. The cabin itself is clean, bright, airy, and cozy. Danny was extremely accommodating and accessible!

Cozy cottage on Fort Pond

Danny was a fantastic host. The cottage was in an excellent location and comfortably slept 4 people for 3 months. The bikes provided were ideal as the town is only 5 min cycle away. The train station only being around the corner from us was perfect for day trips to other parts of Long Island. The cottage is located on the Hopper Transport line which is another method of transport we would recommend. Waking up to the view from our living room of Fort Pond every morning was a delight and the kayaks provided were great entertainment for us. We handed on our feet having Danny as a host, any questions related to Montauk or the cottage we’re answered straight away and we’re welcomed. We loved our stay and would highly recommend Danny and his Fort Pond cottage.

Nice Montauk Option

This is a really nice option for Montauk. Danny, the host, is easily one of the nicest and most communicative hosts we've encountered. We would recommend it for an out of the way stay that is still very close to all Montauk has to offer.

BEST PLACE TO END THE SUMMER

From the second we opended front door, my boys and I knew we would not want to leave. Place was spotless, it was immaculately cleaned and best of all... it was cozy... We loved it.

Cozy lakeside cottage near town!

Danny was a superb host! The cottage is exactly as it looks, it actually feels more spacious in real life. It comfortably sleeps four with the pull-out couch, has a full kitchen, and a great little backyard. The backyard is definitely a highlight- since you're right on the lake/pond- a beautiful spot to drink your morning coffee, and bbq in the evening. It also comes equipped with plenty of outside furniture, a fire pit, and a bbq. If you want to stay in Montauk, you truly can not beat this location. You're walking distance to the Surf Lodge, you can also easily walk/ride bikes to Navy Beach and Sole East (the cottage is equipped with kayaks and bikes as well). Danny is very communicative, and there if you need anything during your stay! Highly recommend this cozy lakeside cottage:)
