"The friendly staff greeted us on arrival. The hotel and property are stunning. We had a beautiful room with views of the St. Lawrence on one side and mountains on the other. The food in the restaurant was outstanding. There was a beach that could be accessed at the bottom of the property. There is a large outdoor deck where you can watch the most amazing sunsets. The property has a great significance in the history of Sainte-Anne-des-Monts and there is a wonderful exhibit on the original owner and the Chateau at the Historical Society a few minutes drive away in the town. Overall it was an excellent (plus) experience."

"This hotel is very welcoming and the staff is fantastic. Both the restaurant and gourmet store were shockingly great. We loved the room and bed and bedding as well as the two doors. My only complaint is the bathroom…there was no hand soap and the shower gel and shampoo in the shower were difficult to use (or possibly empty)."

"Nous avons passé un séjour magnifique dans cette maison. La localisation est exceptionnelle : un secteur tranquille, une ambiance paisible et une vue sur le fleuve absolument incroyable. Tout ce qu’il faut se trouve à proximité, ce qui rend le séjour simple et agréable.Les hôtes ont offert des communications exemplaires. Proactifs, rapides et attentionnés, ils ont vraiment facilité notre expérience du début à la fin.La maison est vieillotte et pas parfaite, mais elle est propre, pleine de cachet et décorée avec goût. On y trouve plusieurs accessoires et petites attentions qui rendent le séjour encore plus confortable.Nous avons adoré notre passage et nous y retournerions sans hésiter."

"Before booking know exactly what you are getting into. No phone connection or internet. 90 minute drive in a van from parking up the mountain to the lodge. All meals are eaten collectively, which is great for meeting interesting people. But guests are 90 percent Québécois and enjoy socialising in French. This is a place to do 2 hikes per day. Lots if variety for expert to advanced intermediate hikers. Less for less advanced hikers. Food is excellent. Guides are wonderful "
