Excellent location, in a nice part of town with a couple of coffee shops, a very nice restaurant and a cocktail bar across the road. Excellent breakfast and a very efficient concierge! Got us restaurant and Tango show reservations on the same day!

Very profesional and attentive personnel at every station, immediate answer to calls to front desk and room service, very efficient and quick laundry service. All and all, a great hotel/palace. The common areas are really palatial with crystal chandeliers, beautiful marble, large windows, gold leafing, ample corridors and very high ceilings.

My stay was excellent at Palacio. The service there was outstanding. Having a butler help with reservations and bookings was extremely helpful. I would recommend staying here. It’s very walkable to common sights nearby. The cemetery was just a few blocks away. Breakfast was great, and the room size and amenities were top notch. I didn’t realize it at the time early on but a 10% tip is customary. Don’t second guess booking this former palace (yes, it was formerly someone’s home). Tons of history here.
