About this property
Where luxury meets farm life in rural Wales yet close to amenitie.
Escape to Usk Vale Shepherd Huts, a peaceful countryside retreat nestled in the beautiful Monmouthshire countryside. Our handcrafted shepherd huts offer the perfect blend of rustic charm and modern comfort, with stunning valley views and the chance to wake up to birdsong and friendly farm animals. Our little farm is a friendly one. As long as you are with a member of staff you can meet and cuddle our donkeys, pigs, goats and sheep.
Whether you’re looking for a romantic getaway, a relaxing break, or a base to explore the area, you’ll find plenty to enjoy. Discover scenic walks through ancient woodland, visit the many historic castles dotted across Monmouthshire and the Wye Valley, or enjoy delicious local food and drink at favourites such as The Pig & Apple.
Ideally located, we’re less than 30 minutes from the Celtic Manor Resort, around 20 minutes from the historic town of Chepstow and its magnificent castle, and approximately 40 minutes from both Cardiff and Bristol, making us the perfect rural escape while remaining within easy reach of some of the region’s best attractions.
After a day exploring, return to your cosy shepherd hut, soak up the peaceful surroundings, and enjoy a slower pace of life in the heart of the countryside.
