"If you dislike the sound of trains at night, make sure to book a room on the ocean side. I was on the ocean side, but, I could still hear the trains, it was not disturbing. Make sure you arrange a taxi if you are unable to carry luggage up a steep hill. Walking up and down to lovely Moneglia can be an issue for elderly unfit guests. I love the hotel and Moneglia. My third time at Mondial. I will go again. Bell"

"Our overall experience was wonderful. The home was immaculate and had everything we needed. The outside space had a lovely view and was a peaceful space to relax and unwind with beautiful landscaping. Moneglia is a quiet coastal community and a great spot to explore from by car bus or train.Access to the home was impacted by the costal road being shut so we had to enter from the hills road which was a little confusing at first. The roads are very narrow so you need to be a confident driver who is good at reversing as needed. You definitely get used to it but just to be aware. The house is on the hillside a good 30min walk from Moneglia and the return is uphill so a car is helpful. Nice local restaurant within a 10min walk. Perfect getaway but the location is outside of the town. "
