"Nicely designed room and bathroom and very spacious. The kitchette was lacking in amenities to be able to use it for proper meals (no toaster, limited cutlery/pans etc). Hotel is staffless and you get the key sent to your phone to enter the main entrance and room (requires internet), this was fine for us. The hotel is a great location, right in the middle of Leiden centre."

"Everything is great about this place with one glaring exception. Fantastic location, comfortable bed, clean rooms, quiet space, beautiful canal view and very friendly staff. The only real issue is the breakfast, it was terrible, there is nothing hot, the toaster is broken, it’s boiled eggs, cheese and cheap croissants - if I’d known I wouldn’t have wasted my money on it. Book the room but skip the breakfast, you won’t regret it."

"This is a semi-automated hotel; staff is generally not in the building. The automation is iffy--the check-out kiosk in the lobby couldn't find our reservation by last name or by reservation number. We finally had to call to check out. On the plus side, the rooms were very clean. On the minus side, there is a large and poorly placed pillar next to the bed, which makes getting in and out of bed a chancier proposition than it should be. The location is excellent--maybe 150 meters from the central train station. Important note: This isn't the hotel's responsibility, but Google Maps will navigate you (even for walking directions) to the parking lot in the *back* of the hotel rather than to the far more convenient *front* of the hotel. "

"I had a wonderful stay at the Fletcher Wellness-Hotel Leiden. The location right next to the station is unbeatable, and the room itself was impressively spacious and modern. I really appreciated the in-room amenities, specifically having a kettle and coffee-machine available, which made it easy to enjoy a hot drink at any time. One of the highlights was definitely the bathroom—the water pressure was high and absolutely amazing, making for a truly refreshing shower. Breakfast was another high point; there was a wide variety of fresh options to choose from, providing the perfect start to the day. Highly recommended!"
