Find a Great Motel Mokoia Island

Quite and clean

We are a family of 2 kids (17 and 11yo) and we enjoyed the 1-bedroom luxury suite we had. The bathroom is huge with 2 sinks, a spacious spa (we could all fit in if we wanted to). We loved the jets, lights and the music via bluetooth while relaxing in the spa. And since it was raining the whole day, we enjoyed our time together playing table tennis instead. We didn’t miss the pool not being heated at all due to bad weather. But we loved the spa and Rotorua during this travel. Will definitely...

Excellent standards in the room, clean and cosy, Fantastic playground, no noise from roads~ the location is great, opposite of Ogo and within a min drive to skyline. Plus, the owner allowed our kids to go to the chicken house to get 9 eggs for free. Awesome service really made us feel welcome.

We were upgraded to a bigger room before we arrived. Excellent room. Used the on-site hot baths and swimming pool. We were catching the bus on our departure day at 17:30. No problem, we were offered the option to leave our bags at the motel for the day, and spend as much time as we needed to tour around. Imagine our surprise when we came back to get our bags and we were directed to another room, where our bags were stored, and told to make a drink, have a shower and freshen up for the rest of...

Basic clean room

We had 3 nights here and were very happy with our stay. The room was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. The thermal spa was a fantastic place to relax after a busy day. The motel owner was friendly and helpful, giving us a discount voucher (and umbrellas) for a visit to one of the thermal sites

Awesome customer service from the man in the office. Super lovely!

Great location, shops within walking distance. Wonderful stay for two nights.

From the welcome to departure, the host were very friendly and accommodating. The best Fish and Chip shop is Oppies - within 2 blocks (check out the vast menu). Not keen on Rotorua's sulphur but did become more accustomed with time.

Loved the friendly and approachable staff very accomodating

Excellent stay. 5/5. So central to everything. Clean, spacious, well equipped kitchenette, good shower and free parking + high speed internet. The room was cleaned daily and supplies replenished. Highly recommended hotel. Mr Boon was gracious and a lovely gentleman to chat with. The hotel has got fairy lights all over the building and it looked so pretty like Diwali. We ended up extending another day. Thank you for a lovely stay Mr Boon and wife. Really appreciated.

Hotel owners were lovely, super friendly and very helpful, also offered us discounts for many of the attractions we wanted to see etc. Came and gave us complimentary lovely local ground coffee, cute little glass bottle of milk and wifi passwords for all 3 of our devices. Room was clean and comfortable and as pictured on site, heated pool was lovely looking and private spa pools a bonus. Owner also gave lots of helpful tips and was very knowledgable - highly recommend, especially for families...

Loved our stay at The Arista over Matariki weekend. Great hotel, comfy beds, nice wee kitchenette and of course a spa pool.

They must provide heater in the bedrooms it's a bit chilly in the winter there's only heater in the lounge area

Loved our stay. So much room and perfect for whanau. We will be back.
