"Rooms were fabulous clean, warm and beautiful. Staff couldn't do enough, free cake for friends birthday, so accommodating, friendly , never rude. The food was amazing , including the hot chocolate. The views from the hotel were spectacular and so peaceful. I would stay there again and again. There is a,hot tub and sauna which you can use till 10.30 at night , this is individually booked and was always available in slots. We didnt do yoga but met the teacher , she was lovely and others at the hotel said she was a really good teacher. "Lovely staff. Nice room and plenty of toiletries in the bathroom. the breakfast was good . Great area, close to lots of restaurants etc. I was on the 3rd floor and there were lots of stairs as they don’t have a lift so bear that in mind if you have mobility issues. I would recommend this hotel."

Frequently asked questions

What is the best area to stay in Moieciu De Jos?
The best area to stay in Moieciu De Jos is the central village area, particularly around the main road, DN73.This area is the heart of Moieciu De Jos, offering easy access to local amenities and a comfortable base for exploring the surrounding Piatra Craiului National Park. You'll find a good selection of guesthouses and small hotels here, often with mountain views. The main road connects you directly to other villages in the Moieciu commune, like Moieciu de Sus, and to the town of Bran.Families often find staying in this central area ideal. Many guesthouses offer larger rooms or apartments, and the proximity to local shops and restaurants makes daily life convenient. The gentle slopes and open fields nearby provide space for children to play, and it's a good starting point for family-friendly walks. For couples seeking a quiet retreat with beautiful scenery, consider guesthouses slightly off the main road but still within walking distance of the village centre.

The landscape during these months is also particularly picturesque, covered in snow.If you prefer hiking, exploring the countryside, and enjoying milder weather, the late spring (May to June) and early autumn (September to October) are excellent choices. During these times, the weather is pleasant for outdoor activities, the scenery is lush or vibrant with autumn colours, and the area is generally less crowded than in the height of summer.
