"Beautiful and peaceful property. A dream. We did not want to leave. The pool area and gardens are gorgeous and so relaxing that we decided to take a break from visiting and simply enjoy the pool. Family owned hotel and owners are so nice. Central to Noto, Syracusa, beaches and Ragusa. A car is needed but parking is free. Torre Don Virgilio Country Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"Amazing property! A truly great stay"

Modica Beach Resort

8/10 Good

"clean, comfortable and spacious room, nice terrace with sea view. The beach was well-maintained and the service at the bar was excellent. However, there could be more food options (only a cold sandwich) and the nearest restroom is quite far from the beach. The buffet for breakfast and dinner was quite extensive but the food quality was rather average. Overall, a very pleasant stay and good value for the price."

Large villa with solar htd pool, tennis court, jacuzzi hot tub, playground for kids

10/10 Excellent

"Villa Modica is a fantastic property with fabulous hosts. I really can’t say enough about the positive experience we had there. We were a small group, just 2 couples, and we enjoyed every aspect of the property: tennis (witnessed by goats, a donkey, and a miniature horse), swimming in the immaculately clean pool, evenings in the hot tub with a great view, cooking in the well stocked kitchen, barbequing and dining on the patio. But even more amazing were our hosts, Antonella and her son Gabriele (a most impressive young man), who went above and beyond to help us with a transportation problem. We were also late arriving, close to midnight, tired and hungry, and they were there to greet us with homemade lasagna, roast potatoes, and a bottle of wine. They provided great suggestions, as well, to help us narrow down our list of what to see and do in the area. Thank you Antonella and Gabriele!"

Casa Talia

10/10 Excellent

"If I could give more than five stars I would. I have absolutely no complaints. Marco and his staff were so nice and helpful from the get go. I was welcomed and shown around the place to get a feel for the amenities. My room was beautiful. Very clean. Water was provided and refilled daily free of charge. Breakfast was served overlooking Modica. I just have no words to explain my gratitude for everything during my stay. I will definitely be back. If you’re not sure : BOOK IT! The only thing I would suggest (this has nothing to do with the place) is having a car (public transportation is pretty terrible across Sicily) but I was given suggestions for a car service that was truly amazing."

Tenuta cappello

10/10 Excellent

"Warm welcome and outstanding food! We purchased the dinner and found it spectacular. Her local specialties were so delicious and so many! So many of the appetizers were of local farms and recipes of the area. And Breakfast was extra special with warm local ricotta and delicious fruit. Great location for visiting Modica, Ragusa etc"

Torre del Sud Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"An absolutely wonderful hotel. The people were extraodinarily gracious, welcoming and relentlessly helpful and kind. The room was oddly shaped, but who cares? The bed was luxuriously comfortable. Breakfast? Incredible? Over-the-top excellent. One note: The hotel is located in a modern, developed and somewhat sterile suburb of Modica, a bit removed from the city itself. Ask the people at the desk to arrange transportation to and from the town with Stefano, a most excellent and thoughtful driver."
