"A great hotel close to the famous Pontocho alley. The bed and bedding were so comfortable and super clean just like all the room amenities. We love this hotel. The buffet breakfast and lunch were above average for the food quality and taste even though the selection was limited. We’ll stay here again next time we visit downtown Kyoto. "

"Apart from the hotel being a lovely and pleasant stay, I really appreciated the coffee in the lounge. There is a Nespresso machine there where you can make your own coffee even when breakfast isn’t being served. This was very helpful to me because I had to leave before breakfast and I was really appreciative of this small but big convenience. They even had little cookies to have with the coffee and this fabulous tea flavored candy that I enjoyed later in the train. Thank you for that. It made me really happy."

"Apart from our bedroom being only a tad on the small side our stay at The NOHGA was simply amazing. Great small boutique vibe, airy and bright reception with friendly and helpful staff. Our bed and pillows were so comfortable and the overhead shower was superb. Breakfasts were plentiful with gorgeous fresh fruits and salads, array of pastries and freshly cooked to order breakfasts.
