Leelanau Sands Casino & Lodge

"We had a very nice stay at Leelanau Sands Casino Lodge. The room was updated, clean, and nicely maintained. The one disappointment was the bed size. Expedia listed the beds as queen size, but the lodge actually has XL full (double) beds. For two people sharing a bed, that is a significant difference. The bed also shook quite a bit with even the slightest movement, which made it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. On a positive note, Oscar at the front desk was absolutely delightful. He was friendly, welcoming, and provided excellent customer service. He really made a great impression and was one of the highlights of our stay. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and appreciated the updated accommodations."

"This is the perfect house for a family that wants to be on the water and experience everything that Old Mission has to offer. It's basically a private beach on a very quiet road (closed to traffic 4 houses down Bluff Rd). We had 3 young kids a dog and it was great having cold AC, a functional layout, laundry, a big driveway for pickleball and chalk, a new BBQ, and a "homey" feel. Bonus: 2 kayaks, lawn chairs, and beach toys were there for the family to enjoy.Jake and Josh are great hosts and went the extra mile to make sure our stay was comfortable. They even let us check out late when our flight got moved and delayed... bonus lake day! We would love to book again."

"Rustic log cabin vibes, beautiful view immersed in nature. Perfect for taking a step away back in time to days of camp. Would recommend for quiet seeking getaway- watching sunsets, listening to the birds, fishing or paddling around the peaceful lake."

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We very much enjoyed our stay in On Belanger Pond. The cottage is clean and cozy...loved the shabby chic decor. We will definitely return and yes I would recommend this place to others.i"

"Great location, exceptional communication, easy access. Also our dog was delighted as she had a little beach leading into the water and nice yard space. On the negative we had two really humid days it was pretty oppressive in the main living area. They had a dehumidifier laboring away but it required continual (heavy) lifting to dump. For the resort price we should have AC or at least big fans and also we should be have relieved of some of the tasks: Take garbage to street one day, bring in the cushions even though we did not put them out our use them, run the dishwasher. This is why I didn't mark a five. Recommend but just know this stuff."
