"Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The correspondence with agency was a bit confusing. Had to request address & details regarding check-in. Cabin was rustic but had everything we needed. Reminded me of my grandparents place, growing up.Swimming was perfect for our grandson as it was a shallow, sandy & quiet lake. Wish we’d stayed longer. Close to Torch, Elk & other lakes too.Dock could use some work & wish there were fewer weeds & rocks near dock, so getting into water was easier for 70 year old grandparents, but we made it work. Overall, a nice family getaway."

"Had a nice clean 1 bedroom cabins with a hill side view of Torch lake. The beach & docks were great for our boating needs. The two bedroom cabins have a wood burning fireplace. The property has plenty of nice dry wood stacked & ready to burn."

"We rented this house and the house next to it and we were able to use the same property manager which was great. We did have some issues with the house - the fridge was off and completely warm when we arrived (the switch had been tripped so we just had to flip it). It just seemed like it could use a good once-over for maintenance issues (we did mention some when we left like no vent cover in one of the bathrooms, a dangling smoke alarm in a bedroom, etc and the property manager sounded like she would take care of them quickly). They didn’t impact the stay so we didn’t mention them ahead of time. And the kitchen could use a check for supplies (we could only find a teaspoon and half a teaspoon measuring spoons). The beach for this house is smaller than we expected but since we rented both houses we could enjoy the other beachfront. Also - we read about the well water in the notes right before traveling so we were glad we could grab gallons of water. It was a very strong sulfur smell but we know that’s just how well water is (just be prepared for it!)There were many things we loved! We enjoyed the back balcony and the big open kitchen and family room. The games were great to have for rainy days and the basement was a nice gathering spot for tv watching. The marina didn’t bother us and we loved docking our boat there and using the kayaks to explore the lake. It was gorgeous!! Amy was helpful and we had a good stay. Great quiet spot on the lake. Not perfect but still nice!"

"Property is in great condition and overall we had an amazing experience. The hoist and dock were in great conditions. Property itself were very beautiful. On the other hand, the outdoor furniture was very dirty and either needs a deep clean or replacement. The water softener either needs maintenance or more salt. The water was very hard. Other than those little things we had an amazing stay!"
