"The only negatives I have for this property are that the hot water went away very quickly, there was no stopper for the bathtub, and the automatic lights were hard to turn on in the morning out in the hallway. It’s walkable distance to cite de carcassonne, but it is on the far end of town, pretty far away from the train station. It took me about 45 minutes in the rain. "

"From booking to arriving, the owners were super helpful, giving us loads of information before we arrived, and answering all of our questions. The property itself was perfect for us, we were 5 in total, ages ranging from 75 to 13! Plenty of space both indoors and out and everything we could think of was provided! "Lovely relaxing stay, wish it could have been for longer. Adrian and Ann-Marie are super hosts. The gite was clean and comfortable and well furnished with everything we needed. The outside deck was perfect for meals and relaxing in the afternoons/evenings after visiting local villages. And the pool was warm and a great size - we often had it all to ourselves. Would highly recommend."

"Lovely house, pictures are not completely accurate. Owner does only speak french, which didn't bother us, but just be aware. Everythin was lovely and Nadine was perfectly hospitable. I will say France sweet villas weren't as on the ball as they should be. I asked multiple times to confirm the comfort kits and we were told it was done, however, when we got there, the lovely lady told us no one had communicated this to her, she was very apologetic and helpful."

"Beds were comfortable, place was clean. Had some trouble with the hot water to wash basin & sink but managed ! The apartment was a little gloomy but the weather was bad when we went which didn’t help. It’s a basement conversion so the approach to the entrance was not very attractive with very high walls. Great value for money though & excellent location for the town & medieval city."
