"Cabins have a great view, are very quiet and away from the road. The park is very tidy and organized, bathrooms are large, clean and modern. Very affordable, payment is cash only. For the Americans (us) who aren’t used to NZ camping, even though it’s a “deluxe double room“ there’s no water or sink or towels. Nor coffee or tea. Nice big supermarket in town (ask me how I know). "

"we really enjoyed this trip, jack and his crew were absolutely fantastic and the food was so so good (thank you Chris!). we saw penguins and seals and the hot tub was brilliant at night listening to the owls and birds. due to the rainfall during the night the waterfalls were absolutely epic the best we've ever seen. the cabin was clean and the beds super comfy so we got a great nights sleep. we got the tender out which was great and everyone enjoyed the kayaking and swimming. the whole trip was so enjoyable, absolutely 100 % would recommend "

"Amazing place for an amazing price. Area is quiet and away from the city lights so the view of the stars at night are super clear. Clifton was really nice and an accommodating host. Would highly recommend this place if you want somewhere more peaceful and quiet but still close to Queenstown."
