Great place for family

Beautiful place. We had 6 family’s that all fit comfortably. The private pool and the tiki bar were a hit! So was the game room and basketball. The walk to the beach was shorter than anywhere we’ve stayed. We will definitely be back.

Friends getting together

Fantastic Family Vacation

We highly recommend Alotta Colada for family vacations. Plenty of room to spread out! The location was perfect; close to restaurants & places to shop. Only a short walk to the beach & a private pool. Our only issue was that the game room. The football table needed to be repaired. Otherwise, no complaints!!

Family and Friend Vacation

The house was perfect for 5 families, 11 adults 14 kids from ages 4-17. Guest house was perfect for the older teens. The game room was a hit for everyone. The location of the house was perfect. We loved everything about the house, drinking coffee on the deck watching the waves, the pool, the outside bar, two washers and dryers in the main house, the commercial ice machine. We will be staying here again. It needs a little updated but that wasn’t stopping us from enjoying ourselves.

Multi family getaway

Seven families fit comfortably in this house. 4 sets of grandparents over 75 so the easy beach accessibility was perfect. We will go back!

Great place!

This house is perfect for family and friends. The pool, tiki bar, beach, and the game room kept everyone occupied even on rainy days. The only recommendation would be to update it the place.

Cockroach INFESTATION

Our family was so excited to enjoy what looked like a beautiful home. We checked in at 4:00pm. By 8:00 cockroaches were coming out of dishwashers, trim, cabinets, they were even inside the Lamps!! Yes the lamps! This place was absolutely disgusting and definitely needs remodeling. The host was not answering our calls. We had no choice but to leave and unfortunately we were all split up in different hotels. Our vacation was completely ruined because of this house/booking…. Run far far away……

Multi-family dream vacation!

Pics don’t do this place justice! The photos online are outdated. The home itself is so nice, bedding, furniture, everything. and spacious! We booked a trip with our friends - 9 families, 23 kids mostly 12-14 years old, one baby, 2 8 year olds, and 16 adults. It was just so perfect I can’t describe. Each family was so pleased! The beds and bedding were so comfy. The second and third floor bedrooms rooms are huge! The bunk rooms on third floor also very nice for kids or even adults. The guest house was really nice! We enjoyed the game room, basketball court, and many seating areas and balconies! The pool and outside bar were perfect places to hang. The beach so close as well. We were back and forth all the time. Loved falling asleep to the sounds of waves each night. And morning coffee looking at the view. 3 full size washer and dryers! The ice maker was a lifesaver and never ran out despite allll these people! Hot water wasn’t an issue either for showers. Bath towels were nice too. We cooked full meals each day in the main kitchen. All the fridges were nice and we stocked the first one up with adult beverages! As well as the fridge by the pool. The grill was great for burger night. Coffee makers came in handy too. Trash was easy in the bins just past the pool. I was nervous when we booked this place because of the nonrefundable 50% deposit. But it was one of the few houses big enough for us that would take less than a week reservation. We were beyond impressed!

Extended family hang out

The property sits just off the beach. Hardly wore shoes all week to get back & forth to the beautiful private white beach. Location is top notch. The house has 2 master suites with bunk rooms on the top floor. Full kitchen, dining space & living room with another full master suite on 2nd floor. 1st floor 3 master suites (1 with bunks) and small kitchen and living space. That walks out to the pool. Plenty of space for 24 adults and children. Check the TV remotes when you 1st arrive, we had some that didn't work but didn’t realize it till late in the week. Found a few roaches during our stay. But all in all our stay here was great family fun and we'd stay here again for sure!

No Shoes Required

SPECTACULAR! We were married here in October and couldn't have asked for a more beautiful setting. We had 60 guests at our wedding, 40 of which stayed at the house with us. There was plenty of room for everyone to find their own space. Everyone was in awe of how beautifully decorated the house was and the attention to detail in its amenities.

Fantastic set-up for teens/family

This was a fantastic setup for our 3 families with teenagers. 6 adults and 7 teenagers; had plenty of room to both hang out together or separate spaces. The pool was heated and perfect for the high 60’s temps in late March. Could easily walk to beach and enjoyed a great view even though we were 2nd row housing. Recreational games in the garage were perfect and plenty of seating for cards and eating together in the main house. We could walk to a restaurant on beach as well as outlet mall. Golf is right around the corner. Highly recommend this place:)

A disappointment

Beautiful beach, lots of issues with the house. Not clean, neither dishwasher worked, grill caught on fire, the property manager came by and vacuumed the pool, it needed to be shocked—that never happened. Water leak in the ceiling of one of the bedrooms.

It is a large house , but is in sad need of repairs, the roof leaked in our bedroom, on The bed. 1/2 the outlets didn’t work, the living room Furniture is worn out and uncomfortable . The kitchen needs towels and dish clothes. Over all I Would give it a. C+

AMAZING!!!

This house was absolutely perfect for our group! So much room, the kitchen was perfect! we had some minor issues that Joey addressed right away! The wifi worked better outside by the tiki bar and not good at all inside, but Joey told us they are working that.. I will say the bunk rooms on the 3rd floor would really only work if your own kids stay in them, as they are more like a closet within the room. They are placed in odd spots, but it did work for us. If you didn't know, this could take you by surprise if adults planned on staying in there. Overall, the house is fabulous and I hope to come back in the future!

Great location

Great location The Recreational room was in adequate for what was advertised. There is no shuffleboard court. The ping pong table is a safety hazard. It falls down and the net was unusable. The air hockey table needs new hockey pieces. I was very disappointed. The location was great. Joey was excellent. Internet was bad. The property just needs some improvements and advertise correctly.

Amazing location!

We just had a family reunion at this property for one week. Overall, I would definitely book again. The location is really hard to beat for the price. The only negative was that there were some cleanliness issues. I understand that this is a very big property, but you could tell that the cleaning crew may have overlooked a few things while rapidly moving through the home. However, once this was communicated with the property manager (who was amazing), our complaints were immediately resolved. This is a property that has been heavily rented out so there is wear and tear as would be expected. It is a cute property, but by no means does it look polished and new. But again, for the price, there is really no comparison in the area. You are steps from a private beach. This cannot be understated. The listing says it can sleep 40ish. Well, it can, but I think it’s better fit for about 30 to 35 tops. But I like my space.

Needs a lot of work- don't rent this place until you know it is fixed!

I was hoping this would be our forever beach vacation home. The layout and private suites make this the perfect house for multiple families with kids. The area is safe and has a lot around. (ie. stores for last minute items) Unfortunately the state of the property was abysmal. The first night, we were awoken by a waterfall coming in through the ceiling and onto my 70-year-old Aunt's bed. They switched out the beds the next day and assured us that this never happens, but you can tell the ceiling has been patched multiple times and it is in Florida so we were lucky it didn't rain again. When I asked for a small reimbursement for the disaster that was the first night, I was ignored. When we first arrived, one of the windows was shattered and even though it had been taped up there was glass all over the patio and in the pool. I reached out to the property manager (which there seems to be only one person for several properties) and I was ignored. There were several other issues with the place that were ignored, (No hot water, we asked to have the pool heated, and the trash was building up -I had to yell at a nearby construction crew to move their trucks to let the trash guy through. It smelled rancid by the pool for days) and I eventually had to threaten the property management with legal action to get them to come out to our place. They finally did -with only two days left of our vacation. We had a great time and made the best of the bad situation and I am sad to say that if a "Karen" had stayed here, she probably would have gotten her money back but I am just not the type of person to ruin a trip over my pride. Because we are a mellow bunch, we are choosing to stay positive and look on the week with fond memories. But I will never be renting from Matt and Mary at Beach Houses LLC in the Destin area when we come back next year or ever again.
