Great location but need updates

Close to Shopping and many restaurants. Condo needs a good deep clean. Baseboards and bathrooms were grimy. But clean bedding and towels.

Great location

Reviewer Comments: Majestic Sun is in a great location and the perks offered by Seascape are great (discount cards/chair set-up). The unit we rented, 504B could use some improvements. Neither bedroom had any hangers in the closets and the master bath did not have hot water in the shower. Kitchen items were sparce with very few teaspoons or large plates. Outside furniture should be updated too. Both bed comforters had tears and the front non-beach facing bedroom needs a drape because the outside lights fully light up the room all night long. As with last year's rental, more than 1 garbage bag should be provided. The best needed improvement not related to this unit is the daily wait in line for chairs/umbrella from Dolce Vita that disrupts each morning. Not sure why if you have chair rental included that you can't put a tag in a chair set-up rather than waiting in a long line at 9:00AM each day. If you don't go early, then they run out of chairs. Each day, we spent 20-30 minutes in the chair line.

Kitchen and living area styled as shown in online pic. Found the bathrooms were less than clean. Mold on shower curtain and around jets in bath tub. Red stains on curtains in primary bedroom. Mattress on bed in primary bedroom very lumpy. Bedside furniture is scratched with finish scratched off on all pieces. Entry wall very scuffed-needs painting. Area on wall in primary bedroom needs repairing and painted. Electrical outlet covers are loose. Floor threshold into rooms are missing pieces. Floor in primary bath needs deep cleaning in corners. Definitely over priced for the condo that was said to be recently renovated. Will not recommend to others.

Location is key as actual room is nothing special

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We flew in and Ubered to the property for a long weekend, so the location to the beach was our number 1 priority. We've actually stayed at the Majestic several years back and it was in better condition. This particular condo was run down with lots of things that could easily and quickly be updated to improve the overall aesthetics of the condo. My wife couldn't believe there wasn't a hair dryer. No ice machine and nobody really on the property to help. No front desk agent. Again, the location was perfect, but some updates could make this place worth the $500/night.

Don’t stay at 504B

The unit is terribly out dated and not clean.Mold in the bathroom vent, in the corner behind the door and around jacuzzi ports.The dryer ruined clothes by marking them with a black tar type stain.The bedding is very non matching (dust ruffle and curtains from the 80’s and cheap Walmart comforter), and the furniture is broken down.Nothing in the condo is themed and nothing “goes together”, wicker, metal, etc.The couch that folds out to a bed is broken and not in working order along with a huge ripped cushion.The bedrooms have holes patched on the walls and the spotty places of paint don’t match what existed.There was a broom with no dustpan, no mop?? I’m not sure how you’re expected to stay for week and not be able to tidy up it day to day. There was only one dish cloth, no dish soap.Overall, the only plus is the view and location. Basically a trashy place to stay.Also, we didn’t get the “complimentary beach service” tag in our arrival package so the first two days we didn’t get to use the umbrella and chair treat.The pool was dirty and cloudy everyday we were there.I would suggest a different condo. The owners of this condo need to make a site visit and make some changes.Oh, and when we first checked into our room, the maintenance man was there repairing the screen and really didn’t want us to stay, even though we had paid an extra $100 for early 1:00 check-in and already brought of our bags and coolers up. I also asked him about an ice machine where he kindly walked me from our 5th floor back to the 1st floor to show me the sign that reads “ICE MACHINE IS LOCATED ON 2ND FLOOR”, so I go up to 2nd floor wagging coolers only to find that there is no ice machine. Quite ridiculous. But, there is a gift / souvenir shop there that sells ice for $3.75 for a 7 pound bag.I plan on making a

Not a great experience

Reviewer Comments: I have staid several times at this location and we’ve always had an awesome stay. The location itself is perfect, you’re close to the beach and the pool is nice. This room was not it. First the room was dirty, there was sand still on the floors when we arrived. Appliances were old and barely worked. The dryer left stains all over our clothes. Couch was broken and the mesh screen was ripped apart. This room could benefit from a deep clean and some updating on your daily life essential appliances.

The good, the bad, & the ugly!

Reviewer Comments: The good: The view & location of Majestic Sun are spectacular.The layout & space in unit 0504B was good for our family. Comfortable beds although the sheets were too small for the mattresses & wouldn’t stay in place. Newer kitchen appliances that all worked well. The bad: Condo is in terrible shape. Pictures are very deceptive. Screens torn & wont slide. Needs to be painted & thoroughly cleaned. Needs new/more dishes ... only 5 mismatched plates (we bought paper). Newer washer needs to be repaired - won’t drain completely. Dryer works fine but the inside is rusted. The ugly: Black mold & mildew all over the master bathroom ceiling & AC vent. Condo dusty & dirty upon our arrival. There is a vacuum which sort of worked on the carpet however the tile floors (whole condo) were very dirty.We were extremely disappointed with this condo & will not rent this unit again.
