La Bergerie

A house with a soul, La Bergerie has been tastefully restored. The highlight of the house: a surprising private garden that you may have to share with the owner in the morning and that will be reserved for you in the afternoon until 10 pm. It is a small oasis of greenery and a haven of peace located a few metres from the Bergerie in which it is requested not to play music so as not to disturb the chirping of the birds, potentially the murmur of the water and the dear neighbors.
Maximum capacity 6 people, 4 bedrooms. 130 m2, with the possibility of putting bicycles in the cellar. Located in the historic centre of the quiet and preserved village of Mirabel aux Baronnies. Barbecue available for the evening in the garden. Possibility to make washing machines on request. Children over 6 years old are welcome. The environment: The sheepfold is located in the heart of the village of Mirabel-aux-Baronnies, between Nyons and Vaison-la Romaine in the Baronnies region. The Baronnies, in the south-west of the Drôme, is the land of aromatic plants. The landscapes are very varied due to the sunny climate and good soil conditions. There are deep valleys, vast forests but also lavender fields and an extremely rich flora. The region is geologically very interesting because of the confluence of the Pre-Alps, the Rhône valley and the Mediterranean. Activities :D the surrounding area, you can go on beautiful hikes to discover the varied landscape and aromatic plants of the region. Many cultural outings are also possible as well as visits to exhibitions, festivities and museums. Some suggestions:- The silk museum in Taulignan- The lavender museum in Coustellet- The lavender distillery near Nyons- Roman remains in Vaison-la-Romaine- The Ancient Theatre of Orange- Various castles in Grignan, Suze-la-Rousse and Aulan- The Pont du Gard near Nîmes- Beautiful golf courses near Montélimar (18 holes), Clansayes, Orange or Avignon Information Mirabel-aux-Baronnies:Mirabel-aux-Baronnies has 1,500 inhabitants and is located 10 km from Vaison-la-Romaine and 8 km from Nyons. There is a tennis court in the village and a swimming pool 1.5 km from the village, at Camping 'le Sagittaire'. There is also a large swimming pool in Nyons (with lawns and slides) and another swimming pool in Vaison-la-Romaine. In St-Maurice (8 km) you can go horse riding. To fish for trout, you can go to Buis-les-Baronnies (25 km). Bike or mountain bike rental in Nyons and Vaison-la-Romaine. Route de Nyons:

- Just after entering Mirabel-aux-Baronnies, take the road sharply to the left, just after the fountain
- Follow this road and you will arrive at the "Place de la Libération" square.
- Drive as far as possible to park your car, right in the square.
You continue the route on foot. You go down. Then the 1st on the right. You will see a stone arch across the road. Just after the arch, immediately take the 1st street on the left. You can introduce yourself via the bicycle bell above the door to the 1st house (No. 8) on your left.
