"Friendly staff, good room, pool and airport pickup service"

"We stayed here a second time only because it’s close to the airport, but unfortunately had the same issues again. The air conditioning wasn’t working, and the staff were not helpful, so we didn’t bother reporting it this time. During our previous stay, we were moved rooms due to AC issues, but were then woken early by loud music, and nothing was properly resolved. We also found one of the night staff members quite rude and unhelpful. We received conflicting information about airport transfer, and he refused to assist, even interrupting another staff member who was trying to help. Overall, very disappointing. As paying guests, we expect a comfortable stay, especially after a long journey."

"Everything was perfect! The staff were incredibly hospitable and the hotel was very welcoming. Food was amazing and such a vast selection, would definitely recommend getting the breakfast package. Perfect for a relaxing break spent by a pool. "

"The location and historic charm are amazing! Having breakfast or dinner whilst right beside the ocean is a rare opportunity in the middle of a Capital city. The rooms are a little dated and hotel could do with a birthday. "

"The Den is located in an excellent area, making commuting very convenient. The hotel has a distinct European influence in its design, yet the rooms are noticeably more spacious and offer more amenities than many hotels in Europe. The shower water pressure is outstanding, and the hot water supply is consistently excellent—both of which added greatly to the comfort of the stay. One area for improvement is in the hotel’s operational systems. Upon checkout, I was presented with a bill showing outstanding room charges, despite having fully prepaid for my booking through Expedia. In addition, each time I left the hotel, security would ask whether I had signed out, which became repetitive and somewhat frustrating. Strengthening these processes would significantly enhance the overall guest experience."
