Comfortable 3-bedroom home with all the amenities a traveler could ask for and more. This home boasts a large updated kitchen that is a chef's dream. The kitchen opens up into the living/dining room that has plenty of seating and features a brand new 55" TV. The main level also includes 2 bedrooms with new queen-sized Nectar mattresses, and an updated full bathroom. The basement is the perfect place to relax and watch a movie or the game with another brand new 55" TV in the family room that also includes a wet bar and mini-fridge. Both TVs are smart TVs with plenty of apps to use. Guests must use their own logins for TV apps. Also, included in the basement is the 3rd bedroom and an updated 3/4 bath. If you're looking to spend some time outdoors there is a huge fenced-in backyard to enjoy playing yard games or lounge on the deck to indulge in an adult beverage or morning coffee.

This stay is conveniently located to many restaurants, parks, walk/bike trails, and attractions: Mall of America (5 minute drive) ; MSP Airport (10 minute drive) ; DT Minneapolis (13 minute drive); DT St. Paul (18 minute drive). Location is also conveniently located near bus routes!

Great place!

We stayed four nights in this lovely house.It is very well located (close to everything)Garrett, the host, was ver helpful and quickly responded to our questions.What I loved was that there were great German kitchen knives - what a pleasure to prepare food with them.And Garrett has all the small things you need in the house like salt, pepper, oils, sauces, detergent etc. that really is very appreciated.You won’t regret staying in this house!

Well appointed property in a great area

Memorial Day getaway

We had a wonderful time and the home was perfect for my son and his fiancee and my college daughter and her friend. The home was clean, nice set up, plenty of room, good location. Close to downtown, Target Field, Mall of America, etc. Would definitely stay there again. The owner was super receptive and easy to work with.

A Wonderful Return Stay

We've stayed at this home before, and our experience this time was equally wonderful! The house is comfortable, clean, and cool in 90+ weather! Our granddaughters spent their days with us and there was plenty of room for all. Unfortunately the hot weather kept us inside, but the breezeway and backyard are pluses, as well. We'll undoubtedly return again!

An Excellent Weekend!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Richfield! The house was very welcoming -- clean, comfortable, easy to locate and beds that provided a good night's sleep. Having the extra bathroom was a plus, and the kitchen was filled with all the necessary items for coffee in the morning, and dinner in the evening. The check-in and check-out process was easy and communication with the owner, Garrett, was helpful, as well. This was our second stay here and we'll very likely be back again!

Winner, winner (Turkey) dinner!

My family met in Minneapolis for Thanksgiving. The house is beautifully renovated; the interesting architectural features are preserved ( updated version of your favorite Great Aunt’s house). It was great to have a space to watch sports and a separate space to watch Christmas movies. The host was accommodating and a clear, concise communicator. I appreciated how well stocked the property was ( no emergency Target runs during the five day stay). Highly recommend this gem!

Lovely home with fantastic location

Wonderful home and yard. Having a lower level bedroom with bath, bedroom and lounging area was fantastic for the kids while the adults enjoyed the upstairs 2 bedrooms (with very comfy beds). Very nice deck with grill and 6 person patio set. Also, a well-stocked large kitchen. The central location close to museums, restaurants, and the airport made visiting and recreating with local family members so easy. We loved this home!

Great centrally located house!

This house, while not huge, had everything our family of 4 needed. Garrett was a responsive and friendly host. It was central to many activities and shopping plus there is a cool park with a public pool great for all ages (even teens) just steps away. There was a nice deck off the back of the house. No complaints but maybe a recommendation… given the afternoon sun really beats down on that backyard an umbrella for some shade would have made it perfect. Overall it was a great VRBO and I would not hesitate to stay again.

The Perfect Mix

For our family vacation, we searched for a place that would provide a mix of urban activities while also allowing us to enjoy the outdoors. The Twin Cities were the perfect choice and this home truly offer a haven for us to enjoy the week. The home was situated in a quiet neighborhood close to eating options, a fun park for the family, and offered easy access to all of the large attractions such as Mall of America and Minnehaha Falls. We greatly appreciated the amenities provided onsite and the cleanliness. This was one of the best rentals we have booked. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this property and would love to return in the future.

65th Birthday Vikings Trip

Everything was excellent. Location to airport, shopping etc. very convenient. Sat outside on the very nice deck whenever we were at the house. Garret was very responsive, and the house was very clean. Two suggestions - shower in basement needs an update - very dark and kinda creepy - we didn't use it Also need new mattress on bed in basement especially, but main bedroom with tv upstairs is also beginning to sag. Overall, a great house and we would rent again from Garrett. thanks

Sisters' Retreat

We are a family of 5 sisters - ages 70 to 91. We live in MN (Tein Cities suburbs), WI and CA - and gather for a long weekend every year. This year, two of us - the CA and WI sisters - stayed at the house for a week, and our MN sisters joined us for the weekend. The Urban Haven was exactly that, for us ... we loved calling that our "Home!" It was perfectly laid out for our group activities, provided a retreat when we needed some quiet time. Garrett is a most accommodating host - responding to our questions and requests graciously and exceeding our expectations! We hope to be back next year!

WE came to meet our newest grandchild, planning to feast at my daughter's home. The labor/delivery/complications resulted in her staying in the hospital on Thanksgiving. Consequently, the Thanksgiving feast had to be held at the VRBO. Everything needed was there, spices, dishes, pots/pans, etc. It was perfect!! So while we were not able to celebrate in her home, we had a home to celebrate in. Thank you!
