Second time staying here to take in a Gopher football game over the weekend. House is comfortable with a great location to walk to many stores and restaurants. We always take advantage of the great backyard patio for a BBQ. (get the brats from Kramarczuk's).
Beautifully maintained historic house with amazing woodwork, nice kitchen, great location. We came in the winter when there was snow on the ground, so did not get to enjoy the outside as much, but would love to come back in the summer. Our dogs were welcomed and the yard was nice and secure, though we could not go directly into the yard from the house - had to go down a few steps.
This place was fantastic. We were in town for the Lions Vikings game with friends. Enjoy the amenities the place was beautiful will definitely consider coming back.
House was perfect to explore Minneapolis. Short walk to downtown but Northeast neighborhood had a lot going on as well. Host were very communicative and provide info for everything you’d want to know. Beds are comfortable and backyard is a perfect oasis to enjoy downtime. Would stay again.
We absolutely loved staying at “The 402” as it is lovingly named. The house was perfectly located close to downtown and everything we planned to do. It was also wonderful for family chats in the beautiful back yard and games in the living room. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Perfect location to go to the Minnesota Film Festival. Cozy and inviting. Great chance to see old home features that don't exist anymore like sliding privacy doors and wood moldings, yet an updated kitchen with a Keurig coffee maker. Bathroom has an old fashion soaking tub and updated shower and sink.
This was the best vacation rental we've ever used. The location was fantastic; we were able to go on beautiful runs on Nicollet Island and St. Anthony Main, we could walk to pick up groceries and takeout, and we had easy access to everywhere else we wanted to go. Unlike many listings, this property was honest about how many it sleeps, and was a comfortable home base for our family of five. The fenced backyard and outdoor eating space were great for traveling with children.
We came up to visit family for Thanksgiving and wanted a place big enough to have them over to visit. The house was very accommodating for that, allowing the adult kids to play their video game while the adult parents were able to play dominoes. We enjoyed our stay at this house. Quiet neighborhood, easy access to parking on street too.
Amazing stay in Minneapolis with AWESOME back yard!
We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful property! The house itself has so much character, lots of space, and well stocked kitchen! The location is also great- walking distance to lots of shops/ restaurants and also near the river! But the best part of all is the back yard - there’s green space, a bar/ eating area to hang out, a fire pit AND a secret garden - we could have stayed out there all day! Would highly recommend for anyone traveling to Minneapolis!
Great location to be close to downtown and plenty of places to walk to. Backyard is amazing! The house is old, and has tenants upstairs so you’ll hear them walking around. Parking is a little sketchy, so don’t plan to have a larger vehicle. Only one bathroom, and I’d say it sleeps 5 people comfortable but we had 7, and that was crowded. Hosts are very responsive and overall was a great place.
Loved staying here while in town for a dog training conference with my 3 dogs. It was nice having a backyard to let them off leash in. The only thing is I wish there would’ve been a way to access the backyard without having to go through/open the side gate every time.it would have been nice having one of the doors that leads into the backyard to actually have the ability to open up to allow us to do that. Besides that great house!
We were come for a wedding and due to illness we ended up hosting a couple of events and the backyard was great for getting the family together. The location is close to everything in Minneapolis . The barbecue worked but is on it’s last legs. Having folding chairs would be a nice addition as well as drinking glasses.
We stayed at this property with our dogs for about a week and had very few points of constructive feedback, and in fact found it very cozy. Communication with the property managers was smooth, check in was simple, and parking was easy to come by. The backyard was perfect for us and our dogs, and the house was a great size for us and the finishes were great. We greatly appreciated that when the snow came the driveway and walkways were all shoveled quickly. It was the perfect location for us to get to all points in the Twin Cities and was a great introduction to our new city. If we were not moving to MPLS we’d stay again! We’ll certainly be recommending this for others who come to visit.
We stayed here in December when visiting family for Christmas and loved the space & the area. Kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed & more. We had our son’s dog too & there was plenty of room for a crate. We liked it so much that we booked it right away for our daughters’ July wedding. The yard was better than we imagined & was the perfect setting for a Friday night back yard party. No dog with us this time but certainly welcomed. Adam gave us bike riding ideas & is very friendly. Plenty of restaurants, grocery stores & the Saturday farmers market all near by.
We’ll certainly be back!

Not as described /Noise/ No privacy
Pictures do not represent current condition of the space. Outside ares included, unattended mess. Needs deep clean badly windows, curtains, furniture covered in dust. In addition, this is a Unit in a large house it is not a stand alone property which was expected based on description. Noise: upstairs tenant foot steps and music from continual. Good location.
The property was perfect, and the owners were very welcoming to us and our dogs. The outside area is an amazing place to host gatherings. The host was friendly and responded quickly. We will be staying there again in May.
This is a special place. Gary and Anne, thanks for hosting us. The gardens are amazing. We really enjoyed the outdoor living area. Our dog was safe in the enclosed yard.
