Convenient, short walk to the restaurants and city center area of the “old city” part of town. The host is very kind, helpful, and prompt with answers to any questions we had. The location in the Harz Mountains is serene, but also full of possibilities for hiking, biking, and quick travel to picturesque towns. "I travelled in September, nights can be cold; this was the only HEATED room I encountered! The room was simple, with only a curtain to separate off the bathroom, but the bed was quite comfortable. I had trouble getting to Bad Grund becausr I don't have a navigation system. Once there, parking beside the pension is free. The surroundings are very quiet."
