Großes helles Zimmer im EG mit Blick auf das Schloss. Sehr schönes Frühstücksbuffet mit leckeren Brötchen und großer Teeauswahl. Eine Bushaltestelle ist direkt vor der Tür und zur Innenstadt sind es nur wenige Minuten zu Fuß.

Das Hotel würden wir als grundsolide bezeichnen. Es ist sauber und ordentlich. Zudem gibt es ausreichend Parkplätze. Das Frühstück war insgesamt in Ordnung. Keines aber feines Buffet. Leider wurden wir durch eine Dame an der Rezeption nicht sehr herzlich empfangen. Nachdem am Vortrag angerufen wurden und alles zum Check in besprochen wurde, wurde und am nächsten Tag unterstellt wir würden lügen und wir hätten gar nicht angerufen. Der Tonfall war sehr scharf. Das hat den Gesamteindruck und Aufenthalt sehr runter gezogen. Die jüngere Kollegin war deutlich freundlicher unterwegs. So sollte man seine Gäste nicht behandeln, wenn man möchte, dass sie wieder kommen. Wir werden es jedenfalls nicht tun. Schade eigentlich.

Vorsicht bei der Zimmerwahl,Besenkammer dabei

Hallo und eine Warnung an Vielreisende,wie Wir es sind,vorab!Hier handelt es sich schließlich um ein 4Sterne Haus,da sollte man ja Einiges erwarten können,jedoch bis auf Das Leckere Abendessen und die Nette Bedienung entsprach“Nichts“4Sternen!!! Und Achtung/Vorsicht bei den Zimmern,Unseres buchten Wir mit 28qm,auskommen mußten Wir mit 15-16qm!Dazu gab es noch 70iger Jahre Badezimmer-Flair und noch nicht mal 1Bild schmückte Unser Zimmer!Also trotz gebuchter Leistungen eines 4Sterne Zimmers gab es 2Sterne Leistungsverhältnis-um nicht zu sagen,daß Wir an der Nase Herumgeführt wurden!Wir kommen“Nie,Nie“wieder!!!!!

Godt motorcykelhotel

Dejligt hotel med virkelig god service, store og rene værelser og en fin restaurant. Boede her på motorcykeltur, hotellet har gode parkeringsmuligheder for både biler og særskilt parkeringsområde for motorcykler. Har boet her flere gange før, og kommer helt sikkert tilbage igen. Det er et af mine yndlingshoteller i Harzen.

Dejligt hotel

Det er er dejligt hotel, med pæne værelser. Deres morgenmad er velsmagende . Det er det eneste sted jeg endnu har fået et perfekt blødkogt æg hver dag :-) Kan klart anbefales.

Freundlich und lecker!

Nettes, etwas in die Jahre gekommenes Hotel mit gutem, freundlichen Service und leckerem Frühstücksbuffet. Wir reisten unerwartet mit Kleinkind an und bekamen dafür ein etwas größeres Zimmer als gebucht - danke dafür. Das angeschlossene Restaurant war abends ein absoluter Genuss - große Empfehlung!

Tolles Hotel mitten im Harz

Wie gewohnt waren wir mit unserem Zimmer sehr zufrieden. Das personal ist sehr sehr freundlich und hilfreich. Die Lage des Hotels macht es für uns die beste Wahl. Das Restaurant im Hotel ist wirklich super!!! Die Preise sind zwar etwas höher aber durchaus angemessen. Wir hatten noch Glück und haben ohne Reservierung einen Tisch bekommen. (An einem Donnerstag Abend war das Restaurant voll!) Einziges Manko sind die Badezimmer / Dusche. Es ist ein Zimmer was Barierefrei und Behindertengerecht ausgestattet ist. Es gibt also keine Abgrenzung für das Duschwasser und somit wird das ganze Badezimmer nass beim duschen. Es ist etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig. (Die Zimmer im ersten Stock haben diese Art der Dusche nicht) Also beim Reservieren klären was ihre Bedürfnisse sind.

Sehr nette Mitarbeiter in der Rezeption und auch in dem Restaurant. Das Abendessen hat ein sehr hohes Niveau. Egal für welches Gericht man sich entscheidet, man wird nicht enttäuscht. Etwas Besseres habe ich in der Gegend noch nicht finden können.

Dejligt hotel, god stor parkeringsplads. Den dag vi var der havde restauranten lukket, men receptionen anbefalede en restaurant "Schultze" i naerheden, og den var rigtig god. Hotellets medarbejdere var meget servicemindede og opmaerksomme.

Flot renoveret hotel, det ældste var bygget omkring år 1600 men det kunne ikke ses indenfor. Lækker morgenmadsbuffet og maden i restaurant var super.

Virkeligt godt overnatningssted

Hoteller er meget fint, og der er intet at udsætte på værelsesstandarden. Desværre holdt restaurantkøkkenet fridag, og vi havde glædet os meget, til at spise der, da det var en stor oplevelse, da vi var der for to år siden. Det er ikke sidste gang, vi vælger Englischer Hof som overnatningssted.

Great place

Great hotel and great staff. Rooms are big and clean. There is a really good restaurant and great breakfast buffet. Good parking for motorcycles behind hotel and away from the road. A hotel I really want to visit again.

Top Hotel mit sehr gutem Service

Wir haben das Hotel als Startpunkt für verschiedene Erkundungen im Harz genutzt und dafür war die Lage perfekt. Die Zimmer waren sehr geräumig und sauber, das Frühstück ließ keine Wünsche offen und das Servicepersonal war jederzeit freundlich und hilfsbereit, was bei einem vier Sterne Hotel eigentlich alles zu erwarten sein sollte aber die Erfahrungen zeigen dann doch oft genug andere Umstände. Auch eine spontane Anfrage für eine abendliche Massage konnte noch vom Personal positiv umgesetzt werden was das perfekte Servicebild nur ergänzte. Der Aufenthalt hat uns sehr gut gefallen und wenn es wieder in den Harz geht auf jeden Fall auch wieder in den englischen Hof.
