Cozy Adirondack Cabin w/ Deck [~15 minutes to Gore Mountain]

"This house had everything we needed! Lots of towels, every kitchen tool you might want, and a stocked spice rack. When we had trouble with the heat the owner was very responsive and helped us get it going again. We had a gorgeous view of the the peak foliage out the big bay window, and we made s'mores at the gas fireplace on the deck. Our two young kids loved the bunk beds. We spent our whole weekend at the ADK Experience Museum, which was just fantastic, and we stopped at the Minerva public beach on our way out of town, which had a playground and beautiful beach."

"This a nice facility in a great location for exploring the Adirondacks. The property is clean. The staff is attentive. I have two concerns about this hotel. 1. There is some deferred maintenance that requires attention. One example is flooring that is uneven and cracked. 2. The shower is small. They use a shower curtain instead of a glass enclosure or shower door . Once the water is turned on the shower curtain is sucked inward coming into contact with you while you shower. I really don’t like that - especially considering how much the room is charged at per night."

"The Yurt was scenic, peaceful, and picturesque with everything we needed. A Blue Heron visited us daily, as did the ducks on the pond outside the Yurt. Complete with warmth for the cold nights and all the equipment to store and prepare food, we were able to see some local attractions and go back and forth to and from the Yurt conveniently. Brett and Alicia were wonderful hosts, giving us our privacy but always available. We did some fishing and hiking and visited the Natural Stone Bridge in Pottersville- a wonderful experience for cave lovers and stone enthusiasts! A beautiful area to visit- highly recommend."

"This property was great for a group of 9. We could have used one more double bedroom but we made it work. The house has a great vibe, little items around that gave it charm. Steve, the host was very friendly and communicated well with us. I didn't see it in the listing but Steve has his own hiking trails around the property which I would have hiked if we had more time. I would definitely recommend if you are in the area."

"Place was about as private, quiet, and beautiful as can be. Great Adirondack location. I was more used to staying a little south (chestertown, bolton landing), but this was better. No crowds at all. We will definitely be back."
