Mitsui Garden Hotel Kumamoto
Great hotel to stay in Kumamoto. It's near the Kumamoto castle, Sakura-no-baba Josaien and the sakuramachi shopping centre. The hotel has a lot of on-site amenities such as a public bath and a restaurant. Staff are helpful and attentive.

The room was clean however you can’t check in early, which is something you should note if you arrive before three. There is no included breakfast. We had a fantastic stay at this accommodation. The bed was incredibly comfortable, honestly one of the best we’ve ever slept on!
