I don’t have enough good things to say about the Hôtel de France. It has all the charm of a family-run business fused with spotless cleanliness with modern amenities and comfort in a perfect location on the main drag in this quaint little French beach town. The commercial district with infinite dining and shopping options is right in its back yard, and it’s within easy walking distance of a Leclerc supermarket. Had enough sun and surf? Enjoy a drink on the terrace of their lovely bar and dining room! Ghislaine and her entire staff were all so friendly, personable, and accommodating. As my dad was always fond of saying, the charm of a visit is more about the people than the place, and their on-point smiles and top-notch service drove that point home. I also learned that this hotel is one of the oldest buildings in the town of Mimizan-Plage, so add historical charm to its list of reasons to stay there. Don’t hesitate to book a room in this lovely treasure of a hotel. It will definitely be part of the good memories you take home from your stay in Mimizan.

Mimizan Beach
Stay was fine and satisfied the desire to visit some Atlantic coast beaches. Be aware if you have sensitivities to airborne odors the local paper mill emits some fairly acrid fumes that can be very irritating. Off season so a lot of restaurants closed.

Hôtel très bien situé à 50 m de la plage, parking privé à 50m. Excellent accueil . Petit déjeuner très copieux MAIS dommage, cet hôtel va disparaitre au profit d'un promoteur qui va construire des logements , tant sur l'actuel hôtel que sur le parking....

freundliche begrüssung, flasche Wasser, Frage, ob ich einen Parasol f d Strand haben möchte. simples aber reines Zimmer, easygoing. nur eine Nacht geblieben, wäre aber gerne viel länger geblieben, weil Mimizan eine schöne Anzahl an unterschiedlichen Restaurants hat, auch hier alle entspannt, zum Teil herausragende Gastronomie zu überschaubaren Preisen.. Strand 100 m vom Hotel, schlüsselfreie Lösung mit Türcode dass man ohne Schlüssel an den Strand kann.

Deuxième fois que je me pose dans cet hotel cest la preuve de ma satisfaction. Hotel charmant qui sort des hotels chaînés habituel. Tres bien situé a 20 mètres de la mer et ac2 pas de la zone pietone et hyper touristique. Facile d'accès et pour se garer (peut etre plus difficile au plus fort de l été. ) Le plus important est l'accueil, la simplicité, le sentiment d'y etre comme chez soit. Les chambres sont tres bien, soignées et tres propres. Ce petit hotel est désormais mon point d'attache a chaque deplacement sur mimizan , que ce soit pour affaire ou en famille . Bravo

Accommodatie is basic. Locatie vlak aan het strand is geweldig. Parking naast hotel heel gebruiksvriendelijk. Personeel was heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam en deed al het mogelijke om besmetting met COVID-19 te vermijden. Hier wil ik nog opnieuw logeren.

Nous avons passé 2 nuits à l'hôtel de France de Mimizan. Accueil, propreté, confort, rien à dire, c'est bien. Emplacement parfait pour ceux qui aiment se baigner. Le petit-déjeuner continental pourrait être amélioré, des salades de fruits variées plutôt que 2 sortes de fruits....du lait de soja, etc....Le prix de la chambre était nettement moins cher sur place, l'intermédiaire prend trop de commissions.

Je reviendrai dans cet hotel très bien situé avec un personnel très sympathique et disponible.les petits déjeuners sont parfaits.Les salades et leurs sandwichs sont excellents pour un prix vraiment honnete en bord de plage.

Vi(2 vuxna o 2 barn)stannade här en natt på vår resa ner till Spanien. Hade gärna stannat par dagar till. Låg precis vid en underbar sandstrand. Privat parkering utan kostnad. Ett populärt sommarställe med blandade människor. Surfare, hippies,familjer o pensionärer tillsammans. Kan absolut rekommendera hotellet för en kortare vistelse.

Très bon séjour hôtel très agréable avec une équipe très sympathique et professionnelle. En revanche, un sèche cheveux serait la bienvenue. Sinon rien à redire.
