Traditional Irish music fills the pubs of this small town, especially during the annual Willie Clancy Summer School. Nearby Spanish Point offers beautiful beaches where you can swim, surf, or simply watch dramatic Atlantic sunsets.
On arrival we were welcomed and shown to our accommodation after we were shown around Armada House. … we were offered a cup of tea . The receptionist asked if we wanted to book dinner and what time would be like breakfast . Within minutes everything fir our stay was organised .. the House was homely and beautifully furnished which added to the welcoming and comfortable atmosphere …

Great location and friendly checkin. Place is bigger than you think and we went upstairs and down some hallways and doors to our room. The room was perfect with a little seating area to watch things go by with a view of the bay. Dinner was delicious with a good selection (book early) and breakfast was cooked to your request. The full Irish breakfast was excellent!
All in all a great hotel and restaurant with a bar and ideally placed. Loved it.

A wonderful hotel, great room, location out of town, but close enough. Very noisy in the hallways, but that was short lived. Martin gave great information in the lead up and was very friendly. Very nice place.

We really enjoyed our stay. The location was excellent, with a picturesque walking trail nearby. The dinner was fantastic — €55 for three courses, including coffee, and there was a great selection of starters and mains, all delicious.
The buffet breakfast was also an excellent way to start the day. All the staff were very friendly and helpful, and our room was clean, comfortable and well maintained.
