Great location for where we needed to be, phone call check to see what time we would arrive, easy checking in, great rooms and restaurant meals excellent in taste and presentation. Staff were excellent, helpful and polite.

Good value for money, close to Silverstone and Milton Keynes. Very efficient check in. Lovely spacious clean room with everything you needed including tea/coffee, toiletries. We had dinner in the restaurant which overlooked the lake and both enjoyed our meals. Lovely stay and as a couple would like to return and use the gym facilities / sauna/ steam room as we didn't have time to experience.

Great stay, second time i stayed here and i really enjoyed it. Very comfortable room with a nice lake view. Plenty parking and very secluded and quite, love the fact that you dont have to go through reception/lobby every time you go in or out. I guess the only negative feedback will be about the road to the hotel, its quite bad and full of potholes however this will not stop me going back. Recommended.

Room clean and pleasant. Shame about service by one member of restaurant/bar staff who was rude and most unpleasant. As this property is quite remote we decided to dine in. Very limited, basic and expensive menu.

Something a bit different - a bit like a motel but a very comfortable, peaceful room with all necessary amenities; great shower. Only point was the bar area closing at 10.30 but it was relatively quiet.

The hotel itself has nice grounds. We were travelling down from the North East and decided to book ahead to break our journey for the night. On the road, we received a call to say the restaurant would be closing at 7 and so would the bar. On arrival at 3(ish) we checked in and the room was pleasantly appointed. We decided to head to the bar as the restaurant was actually closed for a wedding fayre. During our 2 or so hours in the bar, we were pestered a number of times to order food as the kitchen would be closing so we ended up ordering something and retiring for the night before 6. Not what I expected when I had booked and honestly felt like staff just wanted to go home and we were an annoyance despite the smiles.

Lovely countryside views with a memorable lakeside sunset from my room. Food in the restaurant was delicious! Would definitely recommend although it can get noisy from doors banging and the walking outside!

Nice place to stay, quiet nosey on a morning as walls do not seem to be very thick and if you are on the ground floor you can here everyone passing who has wheels on their suitcase.

So very, very close, but let down.
The hotel was let down by the cooking of the food, breakfast was way, way below hotels of this calibre. Bacon hard as leather, scrambled eggs packaged. The room, the situation and the decor was wonderful, the service was excellent. Such a shame as we would have loved to give it 10/10.

I stayed at the Kingfisher Country Club for a night on a stop off from work and a next day visit to Stowe House & Gardens. My visit was lovely. I arrived a little stressed from my day and the staff were great. Very friendly. Had a lovely light dinner and an amazing Gin and Tonic. My room was great and had lots of little extras which were really appreciated including Netflix and Prime. Bed was very comfortable and shower great too. My veggie breakfast was amazing! I left feeling very chilled and relaxed, looking forward to my day at Stowe. Would definitely recommend a stay here and will hopefully visit again! Thank you to all at the Kingfisher! 😊

Beautiful rooms, very comfortable bed and lovely pillows. Really peaceful surroundings. Wonderful and extremely helpful and courteous staff, nothing was too much trouble, they are a true credit to the owners. Downsides ( minor) were : Room very hot despite the fan provided,windows can only be opened a little. A mini fridge would perhaps be useful for cold drinks. TV reception not great at times and the hotel is currently working to resolve the problem. Work was being done on the driving range while we were there so unfortunately very loud drilling started around 8 a m each morning but this didn't continue all day thankfully. This really is a truly lovely hotel and I would highly recommend it if you are looking for that special relaxing break away. Thank you to all the staff

A one night stay. Comfortable room and bed. Lovely outlook. Good breakfast, though coffee was tasteless! Shame. Saw an adder around the lake walk!!
