"I am extremely disappointed with my stay at this hotel. I paid over $500 for two rooms for two days, expecting at minimum a clean and safe place to stay. I checked in around 7 PM, grabbed my keys, and went straight to work without even looking at the room. When I returned around 5:30 AM, I discovered the room had bed bugs. This is completely unacceptable. Cleanliness and pest control should be the most basic responsibility of any hotel. To make matters worse, after bringing this serious issue to management, they refused to give me a refund. Charging guests premium prices for infested rooms and then refusing to make it right is terrible business practice. I would strongly warn anyone considering staying here to think twice. Save your money, save yourself the stress, and stay somewhere that actually cares about cleanliness and customer service."

"First, you do not stay at the Beekman Arms they send you 2 blocks away to some type of run down condo building Dirty bathroom,sheets, toilet continues to run. Heater/air conditioner unit extreme Noisy. Bed hard as a rock The only original part of the Inn is the lobby The tavern is not original So what point of staying their.. exteremly Disappointed"

"We enjoyed our two night stay at the Journey Inn B & B. The hosts, Valerie and Eric, run a very pleasant inn just opposite the Vanderbilt Mansion in Hyde Park. The Inn is friendly and welcoming, breakfast is good, our room was fine."

"This is an interesting location because there is no front desk. Check-in occurs at a different lodging close by. The very lovely Continental breakfast is likewise at a different spot, with people from several lodgings there (all affiliated with the main place). It worked out very well. It's a modest property, but clean and quite satisfactory."

"This home was perfect for our stay. It was spacious and clean. There is beautiful outside space which was a bonus! It is a unique property which has been renovated. It is an older home, so there are typical creaks and groans which one would expect -- not an issue for us. The kitchen was well stocked with quality equipment and basic supplies. The living space is up a set of stairs, which might prove slightly challenging for someone with mobility issues. Again, not an issue for us. One of the bedrooms is en-suite; the other two have the second bath right across the hall. The beds and the furnishings were very comfortable. Plenty of parking is available in the driveway. The hosts were very responsive. This home was perfect for our needs."
