"We Stayed in a basic two double bed room in the Palmer building. Bed was very comfortable. Room was basic but clean. Hard to judge the value of hotels anymore because they are all overpriced (it was about $300 for a Saturday during fall leaf peeping season). Location was convenient to a few shops and restaurants within our building. We were there on a Saturday and all the resort restaurants were booked with long waits…so plan accordingly if you are going peak season or over a weekend. Beautiful area and a good central location between the coast(Portsmouth about 1hr 20 mins and the famous white mountain(Conway about an hour). Be sure to visit the castle in the clouds which is a short drive and the views at the top are spectacular from both the restaurant and mansion."

"My boyfriend is a total hotel snob from being a business traveler for years. I was so happy he actually agreed to stay here after seeing how high the ratings were on the property. Well he wasn’t disappointed and we loved our stay. The inn owners Karen and Kevin were very personable and friendly. The breakfast was great, eggs Benedict one day, quiche, homemade granola, ext. The inn itself is just lovely with a great fireplace that we sat at after we came back from dinner with some other guests. Outside there was a separate fire area by the pool that looked amazing but it was a little too cold to go outside when we visited. Our room had a sound machine which I sleep with every night so I appreciated that. There was also a little heater to warm up the room which was great. All in all it just made for a great getaway! 😊"

"Cathy and I cannot say enough great things about this Bed & Breakfast. On our 7 day trip through MA, VT, NH, this place was by far our favorite ❤️! The house is very convenient to town and easy to park and just leave your car for the rest of your stay. We walked to everything. Our only regret was we didn't stay longer! Beautiful room, amazing bathroom, great tile work! We used the living room with fireplace (very toasty) and the breakfast with blueberry pancakes was amazing! We can’t wait to go back! Amy is most hospitable 😀 K"

"If you're looking for the ideal location for a large group to getaway and relax, have a reunion, or in our case celebrate my wife's 60th birthday surrounded by all of our family and friends, this is the place for you. The house was immaculate, and there is ample room for everyone even when in our case we used almost every bed. During the day we had a handful of family join us that were not staying over and even with 25 people you never feel crowded, the house effortlessly provided the perfect setting without feeling over full. The view is exceptional, and the lake provides endless opportunities for fun and adventure. We brought up a bunch of our own kayaks and paddle boards and managed to get all 12 of us the first morning out on a short paddle around the area. What a great start to the day. The location is perfect for a group walk into town for lunch or some shopping. I would definitely recommend Hermit Woods Winery & Eatery 10 minutes away on foot - great food & drink options. The camp fire provided use the perfect setting to unwind and share stories over some wine at the end of each night. They even provided toys for any little ones in the group. Check-in & check-out was a breeze. Renee was a great host and quickly responded to any questions I had. Highly recommended! Thank you Renee, your home is lovely!"

"We had a lovely weekend in Meredith at this adorable house! Tucked into a tiny wooded drive and only a short ride from the center of Meredith, this gorgeous, clean, stylish house was the perfect combination of modern amenities (all Viking appliances!) and a woodsy lake home. The kitchen was incredible. Really loved the 3 season porch expansion and the bright sunroom. The property was great and we just had to try out the hammock. So relaxing! If you are looking to stay in the Lake Winnipesaukee area or are staying for a concert in Gilford’s Bank of NH pavilion (like us), don’t hesitate to book this place!"

"Our stay at Steven and Joan's was exceptional!! We were super comfortable in every way.The bed was amazingly comfortable. Every room was clean and in good shape. Beautiful bathroom. The kitchen had everything we needed. We had the place to ourselves because the other family members we were hoping could come, couldn't make it. But what a treat to have it to ourselves! We had one small situation with the grass in the driveway that got messed up when a friend came to see us. We called Joan to ask what we should do. She was so kind and helpful. It was a simple resolve so there was no problem. Also, we were able to actually talk to her, and not have to leave a message or text. They were helpful and available! Wonderful time and great hosts...Steve and Joan! THANKYOU!!!"
