"The staff memories were lovely everyone you meet was pleasant. The property itself needs to be better taken care of from the outside of the building to the Un manicured grass- The bathroom or shower tiles need to be cleaned or updated a lot better than it is- My room was clean. The bed sheets were clean. Location is good The café bars was decent- opened every time I visited! The staff very helpful unpleasant. If staying there just know that the properties needs maintenance/updates"

"Great stay at this hotel… very friendly staff , not unisual for Italians and let alone Calabrese people … The breakfast is very nice and filling, continental with vienoiserie , juices, a variey of coffee brews… fruit , toast…. The owner is extremely helpful… it is a great place , very central, walkable to the corniche, beach and night life…the areas is very safe and quiet… air con works well,and I am definitely coming back for aonger stay in Regg Calabria. "After needing to book at the Baia Taormina hotel due to a power outage from a storm at our original booking (a Beautiful Bed and Breakfast!) the Baia Taormina turned out to be a very pleasant experience after a very disappointing day. The staff was wonderful including breakfast servers, front desk, housekeeping and our good friends whom served us each night at their very beautiful bar. the 2 pools are very beautiful with a very nice poolside bar and excellent personnel to serve you. As most of the Italian coast (in My experience) The trek to what would be the hotel beach is quite a hike and storm damage from a recent Cyclone made bathing very difficult unless you are young and in really good shape ( The trail down to the beach is quite an experience). There is however a public beach approx. 500 Meters down the road with easy access and some accessible parking if you must get to a beach. Breakfast that was included with accommodation was nothing less than excellent. The lady covering the espresso coffee bar was amazing. Free parking with lots of room was very helpful. This was our last venue stay in Italy and other than the B&B we needed to leave due to the power issue, Baia Taormina had the best parking that we experienced on the Italian southern coast. Location approx 40 Euro cab ride to Taormina center and for a drive to Messina, Mt Etna, or even as far as Ortigia the location is wonderful. Hotel Baia Taormina is an easy choice!"

"Anyone looking at my review may think that I was lazy, just hitting five stars across the survey. Well, quite to the contrary! This is my second stay at La Lacandiera and as I will be 83 years old next year, good Lord willing, I will be back for a third year. Now, I get it that everyone has their own travel objectives and criteria! But for me, boots on the ground, real people experiences, and time smelling the flowers. I'm not a cruise ship kind of guy, so take that for what it's worth. Five stars 🌟 ✨️ 🌟"

"Great stay in Reggio Calabria!! Breakfast was outstanding!! Staff went far & beyond….. there were no parking spots out front when we arrived. Amazing gentleman at front desk moved his car so we could park! Even cleaning staff… young man was amazingly kind and engaging! Would recommend hotel 100 %!! We had Jr Suite sea view … room large, bed comfy and very clean!"
