Eagles visit daily

Beautiful lake home that gave our family the perfect weekend getaway away. The weather was great and the house had everything needed for us to provide an elderly parent a time reminiscing fishing on the lake when he was younger.A bald eagle came to visit each day which made it even more special.Cassy provided great information before renting so we knew that someone could get around with a walker on the main level and that getting down to the lake was 25 steps so we could plan the weekend activity accordingly.Great hosts

Eagles Point

Just finished our second stay at this cabin for an anniversary weekend. Falling in love with this place, we'll definitely be getting it for a whole week to share with the entire family in the near future. Fishing was great as well!

Perfect Family Getaway

Our whole family loved this lake house and all the activities that were there for us to do. Plenty of space for us all and this getaway was just what we needed to unplug! We will be back!

I can't say enough good things about this place. It is amazing, the beds were some of the most comfortable I've ever slept in. The views were spectacular, the fishing on the lake was good. I'd give a million stars if I could. I'll be back for sure

Great home for a getaway!

We stayed here over Christmas and had a lovely time in this cozy cabin. The kitchen was great, had everything we needed, and the living room and dining room were spacious enough for the eight of us. The beds were comfy, and the game room was a great place for everyone to gather and play cards, darts, and more. Had a great time!

A comfortable stay for family wedding weekend

We enjoyed the amenities offered. It was great to have a place to have 3 families stay together for our son’s wedding which was just 10 minutes from the venue. Enjoyed seeing several eagles from the dock. Beautiful views, serene and quiet area. We would recommend to others!

Wonderful Lake Getaway

We had a great time at Eagles Point! The home is wonderfully situated on the banks of the lake, with all the water toys a person could want! Our family of six spent a delightful day paddling around the lake on the kayaks, lily pad, and the pedalo (a favorite). Wendy and Cassy are friendly hosts who answered all of our questions quickly and completely. We highly recommend Eagles Point to all future guests!

Wedding Weekend

We started off pampering the bride to be on Thursday night. Friday was a fun day filled with the groomsmen dinner at your lovely home surrounded by the fire pit and the beautiful fall colors on the lake. We finished up our weekend with a fabulous wedding and we had great rest and you’re comfortable bed and amazing surroundings. thanks for letting us stay here.

Family Getaway

This property was very clean and spacious. It suited our group of 5 adults and two children, ages 6 & 8, well. We enjoyed the lovely lake view and great game room. The property was equipped with everything we needed. We didn’t have A+ weather, but we still had a great time. We DID rent a pontoon which provided great diversion even on the less than perfect weather days.

family reunion picnic/Mom's 95th birthday

Where to start!! Excellent hide-a-way, decorated in the true Minnesota style, and lots of hand-written, helpful notes posted to make everything simpler for guests. The grandkids loved the whole lower level - the game room had so much to keep us entertained. My sisters and I may look into booking this together (no spouses allowed) within the year.

Great lake place

We really enjoyed this house - it had all the amenities (games, kayaks, grills, fish cleaning station) we needed for a great weekend at the lake, and the views from the two decks can't be beat - so relaxing. Our only complaint - and it's a very small one - is that the lighting in the kitchen was kind of dim to cook with.

Eagle Point, lovely lake setting.

Entry and parking was a bit hidden and scary with the curved hill to the entry. But overall, the 2 story Eagle Point cabin was lovely and comfortable with game room, laundry, and piano that was much appreciated. The themed beds and bedrooms were comfortable and inviting. The master bedroom's dressing room with its large mirrors was great for the wedding party groom and groomsmen.

Better in person than photos- a truly lovely place to stay!

Stayed for an out of town girlfriends very long weekend together, great place! Just as described, but far more beautiful in person. Eagles were right above cabin- so cool to watch them. Bring floats to go past weeds and swim further out- we swam every day. So many thoughtful touches, great decor, so much room. Well worth the price. We will be back! Best cabin (let’s be real- it’s a lovely lake home!) I’ve ever rented. :)

A Great Place To Make Memories

The pictures do not do this place justice. It’s spacious, plenty of room, the bed in the main bedroom was perfect and our family enjoyed everything about this place. Our family had 9 of us there and it didn’t feel crowded at all. It is a gorgeous home, close access to the water, a large grill that came in handy and the library of 📚 made for a great way to relax. You can hear the loons on the lake, the hosts were great to us & accomodating. If you’re looking for a perfect spot for you fam to have laughs and make memories hit the book button. Pro tip: Don’t make any plans when you’re there, just enjoy being on the lake because we spent a week on the water and that’s the only plans you need.

Family vacation with grown kids

We had a great time with our 3 grown children, one of whom lives abroad. Comfortable surroundings both indoor and outdoor, plenty of space, and all we needed for outdoor recreation too! The only thing I would add is more light in the living room and dining room for evening board games and reading. We brought the floor lamp from the bedroom to that room to supplement. Problem solved!

Better Than Expected!

My family of four (adult boys 20,22) had a wonderful 3 night stay at this lovely lake house. We had spent the earlier part of the week at a different location in Minnesota but wished we had spent the whole week here! There was so much to do inside and out. They have many lawn games and board games to keep you busy when you’re not out enjoying the lake. Everything was clean and well maintained. We rented the owner’s large pontoon and it ran very smoothly and was perfecting for touring around the lake and finding spots for fishing. The home looked nice in the photos, but really the photos can’t relay how nice this place is!

The house was absolutely beautiful. The view of the lake was picturesque. The neighborhood was nice, quiet, and we felt safe. We enjoyed the lake immensely. We enjoyed the kayaks and the paddle boat. The lake was so pretty especially while the sun was setting. We relaxed most evenings by the fire pit. One evening we watched an eagle soar over the lake; it swooped down and caught a fish. The mosquitos were terrible so we layered in repellent. The game room was amazing, we had some great family time and we laughed a lot. We played foos ball, darts and sang a little karaoke. The house was comfortable and well equipped. The master bedroom was very nice. The bed was comfortable, the walk in closet was a dream and I loved having our own bathroom. We would definitely stay again.

A great stay with some good-to-knows

This house is gorgeous, spacious, and perfect for a family to have together time and separate spaces. We would absolutely stay again! Here are a few things that I would find helpful to know when booking: 1. The shoreline and dock are VERY weedy. Definitely not swimmable for the kids. 2. We were able to rent a boat from the property owner/neighbor. Super nice folks. But, definitely would've been good to know there wasn't a swim ladder when we asked for a boat to get the kids out swimming past the weeds. 3. Bring a couple gallons of drinking water. The well water is fine, but not tasty drinking water. 4. Good fishing and quiet lake during the week!
