Opening the balcony door in the morning, a fresh breeze greeted me, and the sound of roosters crowing in the distant mountains marked a beautiful start to the day. The room and bed were comfortable. And the breakfast was super. I'd definitely stay here again."

"La vue sur les vignobles du Douro est spectaculaire. Les employés aimables, sevice 5 étoiles. Petit déjeuner impressionnant beaucoup de variétés. Déception pour le restaurant. Nous avions choisi de diner le soir à ce restaurant, vraiment decu. Le menu n’est pas digne d’un hôtel de cette catégorie. Présentation très ordinaire, et choix très limité et basic. "

"The vineyard is truly beautiful. The scenery is outstanding and really adds the the luxurious feeling of this hotel. The bed was enormous, it was like having a whole double bed each. The food selection on breakfast and evening was good and not overly expensive. The only complaint would be the wait time on drinks by the pool, there was only one staff member to make drinks and sort food orders so we were often waiting a long time for drinks. This was pacified by having two pools to cool off in and lounge by. I’d absolutely stay again. "
