"Everything was very clean and spotless, we did have an ocean front in the 700 building and there was a very bad ant problem they were infested even crawling on us in our sleep. The staff was very accommodating to come spray etc but didn't offer to move our room. But we were barely in there everywhere is was nice clean and friendly staff"

"I have been a visitor to the Pueblo chain of hotels for the past fifteen years. This past week I spent almost a week at sunset and I will never take away from the facility and grounds maintenance. However, I learned on this trip that what matters most to me is the friendly customer service that seems to have been lost . I have been a repeated visitor at the sister hotels for years having stayed at Pacifica, Rose and the past three visits at Sunset. Last week I was saddened to experience such a decline in the level of customer service. While the restaurants and amenities have always been exceptional it now feels as though Pueblo hotels have evolved into another average hotel chain. Waiting over an hour and a half for food, unacceptable ratio of customers to waiters, and feeling invisible to staff was my experience. I have always been a fan of the shuttle system always appreciating the variety of experiences among the sister hotels. It was so disappointing to walk in and out of the hotels and never even getting greeted once. I was shuttled to and from sunset to rose and it was quite sad to have never been acknowledged by anyone outside the hotel completely ignored and not even a smile. Such a striking difference I have seen in the past couple of years. The hotel transitioned into an app and I was unable to connect my two reservations under the same email. I was not able to log in and no one in the lobby would help me. It’s said to see this chain going downhill"

"Wifi was spotty and not reliable. Went to 3 different restaurants at 7:00pm and was told they were full for the night, had people waiting for tables. Some info at checkin about the process would have helped. First time at this property but wegave stayed next door at the adults only Location and it was much better service and wifi."

"While there were several highlights during our stay, the experience was overshadowed by a lack of dining inclusivity and a very troubling interaction regarding a timeshare presentation. The Highlights: The poolside wood-fired pizza was amazing—a huge shout-out to Jose Luis for his incredible work. The entertainment staff was also fantastic and kept things engaging; Daniella, Victor, and Alexandra did a great job keeping the energy up by the pool. We also want to recognize the excellent service at the swim-up bar and from the servers. Raul is an amazing bartender, and Paulina, Luis, and Salique provided top-tier service that truly stood out. Additionally, while the nightly shows were very enjoyable, the audio system was a bit of a struggle—the speakers made it difficult to listen comfortably at times. Areas for Improvement: The experience for vegetarians was very poor. Options were extremely limited across breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Even the snack bar lacked vegetarian burgers, and we had to ask the chef to specially prepare veggie sushi at lunch. Most distressingly, we felt racially profiled during the timeshare presentation. As Indians, we were not offered the same gifts for attending that were being offered to others. Overall: It was a good stay thanks to the hard-working staff mentioned above, but it would have been a much better experience if the resort provided better vegetarian variety and ensured all guests are treated with equal respect regardless of their backgrou"
