Lovely 23-person chalet, view of Mont-Blanc, hiking, biking, horseback riding

  • This former Savoy farm, fully renovated in 2012, offers all the comforts you will need to spend a lovely holiday with family or friends. The chalet disposes of 7 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms. It is located in the middle of nature, far from the summer crowds. It is set in an ideal location to admire incredible views of Mont-Blanc, as well as other mountains around. In summertime, you will be able to enjoy the sunny garden and the views it offers, as well as the mountains. You can also hike and take walks, no matter your experience level. Rentals and ponies/ horses are available on site. Nearby, you can practise a wide range of activities including: swimming, paragliding, rafting, tennis, mountain biking, climbing, and much more. During winter, the ski resorts are easily accessible from the chalet. Five km away, you will find the Praz-de-Lys-Sommand familial resort, which offers a wonderful downhill skiing domain for everyone. Both children and adults will be satisfied as it has a large cross-country skiing domain, as well as pedestrian areas. Further away, there are large domains, such as Portes du soleil or Grand Massif, which feature kilometres of runs. After skiing, the children can enjoy the garden to play in the snow and sled a little while the parents enjoy the view and the last sun rays from the south-facing terrace.

Chalet parfait pour 22 personnes, tout était niquel au niveau des équipements cuisine, salle de bain.Dommage, il n'était pas stipulé dans l'annonce qu'on était vraiment à côté d'un haras avec des cours de chevaux.De plus, le logement n'était pas très propre.Nous avons tout de même passé un agréable week-end en Haute Savoie.

Un vrai coin de paradis

Gîte chaleureux et très bien équipé pour un grand groupe. L'endroit est magnifique. Seul point non précisé dans l'annonce, les propriétaires habitent l'étage du dessous mais ils sont d'une gentillesse et d'une bienveillance rare. Merci pour tout.

Petit weekend entre amis à la montagne

Chalet spacieux, chaleureux et très bien équipé pour de grands groupes. Bien au calme, en pleine nature et comme voisins les plus proches : des chevaux ! Juste 10 minutes en voiture pour rejoindre les pistes du domaine skiable Praz de Lys Sommand, une demi-heure jusqu'aux Gets. Nous avons passé un très bon week-end !

A great stay for a cycling association

In July 2019 we stayed in Mieussy with a cycling association. We had a great time and enjoyed the beautiful location and area. There are different well-known cycling climbs in the neighborhood and the environment allows for great cycling. It was nice to enjoy the beautiful weather outside in the spacious garden and in the nearby (beautiful!) swimming spot. The kitchen was well equipped and allowed for cooking with a large group. Furthermore, the owners are very nice and easy-going. The only disadvantage was the horses and the flies that come with the horses. Unfortunately, we were not able to keep them out of the house. Perhaps other people are better at this ;)

Beautiful

Beautiful house, beautiful yard and beautiful scenery. The owners are very nice and understanding people. We had a group of 13 adults, 3 children and it was perfect. There are 5 rooms with double beds. All have their own bathroom. One of the rooms with the double bed has a loft with 3 single beds. It's a perfect family room. Then there are two bunk bed rooms. One with 2 bunks and the other with 3 bunks. Those two rooms share a bathroom. But there are 2 toilets and 2 showers in there. All in all it was a great experience and we would go back for sure if we had the opportunity.
