"Excellent stay in every respect. Warm and cosy cottage, spotless and furnished with all the essentials and more. Very comfortable beds. Close to Chichester and beaches but immersed in the countryside which meant utter peace during both day and night. My daughter and us enjoyed spending her big birthday at the cottage... with her small dog and explore the area. Thank you"

"We had a 3 night family stay with our dog for New Year and this property was perfect for us. Quiet residential area. Dog exercise at the park just a few minutes walk away. Bus stop very close by if you don't have/don't want to use the car; personally we enjoyed the walk to Gunwharf Quay. A short drive to Southsea Prom and everything it has to offer. Beds were comfy and the living/cooking/eating area provided all we needed for a few days. Option to have a bath or shower is a great addition. Just...

Prior to booking this property we wanted to ensure that it fits all of our requirements. 4 bedrooms with ensuite, parking for 4 cars and close to Portsmouth. This property gave us all we wanted. We had a warm welcome upon arrival and shown around the property. Everyone enjoyed the time away. We will return to the Coach House as it fitted the requirements we wanted. "Our stay at Mariner’s cottage was one of several stays across Europe on this trip. It was one of the most memorable for it’s quaintness, originality and decoration. The cottage was very well stocked with everything we needed. There are amenities all within walking distance - groceries, bakery, butcher, and fantastic pubs and restaurants. We loved it and highly recommend it!!!"

"The 16c house is quaint with sloping walls and floors, original beams and inglenook fireplaces. Sympathetically renovated with lovely quality finishing. The garden pretty, with lots of spring bulbs emerging and colourful chickens in a stable supplying fresh, warm eggs. Jonathan was the perfect host - attentive, thoughtful and generous. I used the pool, as yet unheated, for invigorating cold water dips, thawing out in a lovely, hot roll-top bath after with a view of the trees. Plentiful dog...

"A lovely clean and spacious property, we spent the week over Christmas and Val made it really welcoming with a few Christmas decorations. Plenty of parking for cars, table tennis in the garage to keep the kids entertained. Would definitely stay again, and the beach is only a short walk away. "

"This House was ideal for my Wife's 70th birthday last weekend, all eighteen of our family agreed and it was a great success with everyone, however, The owner does need to improve the general condition of the decoration and some fittings, they have spent a fortune on a lovely new kitchen recently so they are seriously investing in the house, it would take a very small, by comparison, investment to put Bury Villa in TOP decorative order, which it needs in places, before the negative reviews start...
