"The staff really makes this place shine. That and the location. You cannot beat it right next to Bowen’s Wharf. Also, the pool is fun and the outside areas are as well. The staff is all very nice and work hard to make it a great experience. The property is a little tired and could use a refresh, but it’s not dirty, just a bit old. I choose to overlook and just enjoy the location and the great atmosphere. "

"I believe I choose the right spot. It’s only 6-8 minutes from Newport, RI. Which during the weekends is great because staying in The town of Newport during the summer is very busy and a little congested. The staff at the hotel was nice and informative. Lived my window view of the water, so peaceful! There’s a couple of restaurants around and an awesome ice cream shop. The beach is a few mins walk down the street! I would definitely stay again!"

"This is a no frills hotel. It worked for the one night we stayed there, but it’s far from luxurious. The bed was comfortable, the room wasn’t large and the bathroom could have used some updating. Our room wasn’t ready until about 15 minutes after the check-in time. The breakfast leaves a lot to be desired. I’m not a picky coffee drinker, but this coffee wasn’t good. The only other options were apple juice and iced tea, and neither tasted right. Small sitting area for breakfast on the weekends. "
