"I didn’t actually stay here I checked in and was shown to the room I went in the smell was over whelming the sheets on the bed look dirty the flooring was worn with gaps and had not been hoovered. I left as I would not stay in such a dump and booked in another hotel "

"The carpet wasn't that clean and the shower gel was empty. I also couldn't get the heating/Aircon to work. However, the staff were helpful and the breakfast was good. The location and spa were great too."

"Lovely hotel but our room wasn’t cleaned properly, could have done with a good freshen up , however we did see painters in so probably in process of freshening up rooms, bed was very comfortable but could have done with new pillows as they were a bit flat, Staff were all very friendly and welcoming. Food was very good huge portions, freshly cooked and reasonably priced."

"Very noisy, not a great ideas to put me on a. Corridor which had a hen party. Woken up constantly. People unreasonably loud in corridor. Check in was unfriendly but check out lady was lovely. Would definitely not stay again "

"My friend and I had a girlie two night break at this hotel and loved it. When we arrived the receptionist noticed I was using a walking aid and unprompted started looking to change our room to an accessible room eliminating needing to use stairs. We were very touched by his thoughtfulness. It was an upgrade to a suite which was outstanding and it really enhanced our comfort and experience. We had a sitting room (with verandah) which was very comfortable and well equipped with a coffee maker, selection of high quality teas. There was a large bathroom and a super king size bed. Breakfast was nice, not outstanding but nice. The swimming pool was the big treat. Beautifully warm and the highlight of the stay. All the staff were very cheerful and friendly. This hotel is special and situated next to the Market Square which had lovely coffee shops, quaint shops and enticing pubs. Can’t wait to go back so thank you to all the staff especially Ali xxxxxx"
