"The property was easily found by using a Sat Nav. The property inside and outside was very clean. There is a narrow gravel drive up to the property so Parking was in the village square which was a short walk around the outside of the pub, so not recommended for disabled as there is also steps up to the entrance door. The entrance was a wooden decking which had a range of colorful potted plants and well maintained. The owner was very helpful with directions and places to visit and eat...

My family of 3 stayed 2 nights and wished we'd stayed a couple of nights longer. The price was steep, however we all thought it was well worth it. The first floor refurbishment (parlour, lounge rooms, bar, 2 restaurants) has been done beautifully. The Great Western restaurant was particularly good. We partook in one of the one hour walks around the property and golfcourse which was lovely. We wish we had time to have played a round of golf. The views over the golfcourse are spectacular and the...

Hotel Indigo Torquay by IHG

Torquay

10/10 Excellent

The hotel is only about a year old so the building and all the fittings and furniture are in as-new condition. The staff were all cheerful and a delight to work with. The food was good both breakfast and the evening meals. The location right on the foreshore is attractive with lovely views of the sunrise but it is well away from the centre of Torquay. When I arrived Google maps had the location 300 metres too close to the main part of Torquay so you need to check this before setting a route.
