"Beautiful location and property! If you are looking for privacy in a secluded ocean front property with amazing views and snorkeling right out your front door, this is the place for you! Although I was a bit caught by surprise that there wasn't any road access to the house (my fault for not reading carefully) we wanted for nothing while we were there. Renee and the grounds man Carlos were extremely accommodating to our needs and wants. Carlos went the extra mile for me when I had a horrible allergic reaction late at night. He ran out and got me meds and lotions and delivered them in an impressive amount of time! They made getting groceries,alcohol, fresh fish markets, and going to restaurants easy, as it's just a few minute boat ride. We went to the end of the island and swam with nurse sharks and rays and it was an incredible experience! Overall we had a very pleasant stay and experience. If I were to have any gripe it would be that I am out of shape and wasn't prepared for the steep stairs to and from the beach! Besides that I would highly recommend this property. Lots of peace and quiet and away from any ports and crowds of people. We hope to go back sometime! "

"Camp Bay Lodge is a gorgeous oasis in the east end of Roatan, the perfect place to decompress from your busy life at home, facilitated by a team of simpatico employees who make everything feel easy and carefree. I loved my studio room, the quiet and tranquility of the property, and swims in the ocean. From the Lodge, I took walks in the area to explore the nearby village and the amazing Port Royal National Park. The homecooked food in the Lodge's restaurant kept me energized, and a cast of interesting guests kept me entertained. This place is the antithesis of the West End of Roatan, and is ideal for anyone looking for peace and quiet. Thanks to everyone at Camp Bay Lodge for a stellar stay. "

"If you want a fantastic island stay without tourists go here. Avoid the “West End”. That’s for Cruise ships and a Disney World vacation. George and Mable were most helpful. George took us for a day boat ride through the Mango swamps and we stopped at floating Tiki Bar for a coconut drink. The fresh ocean salt water pool was fantastic. "

"We had an incredible stay and would absolutely give this place 5 stars.Yes, it’s on the far east end of the island, about an hour from the airport and most of the “action.” For us, that was a huge positive. It felt like our own private slice of Roatan - quiet, peaceful, and far from the crowds.The house is spacious and very comfortable, and the pool and outdoor areas were a big part of our trip. There was a little work being done on part of the pool deck, but it didn’t affect our stay.Wendy and Vicky made the experience. The meals were outstanding, fresh, local, and plentiful (we were very well fed). They also helped arrange great excursions, including ziplining and a boat day with snorkeling and swimming with sharks and rays.The beach isn’t powdery white sand, it’s a bit coarser with some turtle grass, but it was still beautiful and we loved kayaking, relaxing, and unplugging.If you want nightlife, stay west. If you want quiet, privacy, and a truly relaxing experience, this place is hard to beat. We’d come back in a heartbeat."

"Living Waters was beautiful. A very private location away from the cruise ships and crowds of the West end. If you appreciate nature, then look no further. Private dock was perfect for launching snorkeling excursions. Best, Alex"
