The receptionist couldn't put down her phone/texting long enough to talk directly to me. She (therefore?) had missed my request to check in early so I had to wait an hour for the room to be readied and she still charged for early check in. The room was tidy but the floor was dirty under my bare feet. And then they wanted MORE money to Ck out after 10am!
The lobby was bland & no restaurant.
The view from the window was lovely but the way you could only see the view if you're standing. So if you wanted to sit and look at the view all you could see was sky because the windows were to high to see over the wall.
Also even though the pool was listed as an amenity on Expedia, it was closed for construction so both pool and pool area were useless- no chairs- couldn't even sit outside on a deck.
The texting receptionist said the pool was not listed on THEiR website but of course that didn't help me since I booked thru Expedia. And when, after I learned there was no pool, a charged for early Ck in, and my room still not ready, and she was so unhelpful, I said I wanted to cancel, get a refund and go elsewhere and she said I could not get a refund.
So after all that ( it was last min b my flight was cancelled and I had to overnight in Miami) I was stuck in a room where I could not sit out by the pool and watch the ocean and if I wanted to watch it from my room I had to stand.
I was too exhausted to walk the beach-- I sat there a little while, but it was windy and cold.
