Worst hotel experience I’ve had in my travels. I checked in about 8:30 pm. I had booked a room with 2 queens for myself and my friends, who were arriving later. Upon arrival, no one was at the front desk, and staff walked out a few minutes later to check me in. He informed me they were out of rooms with 2 queens, but we could have 2 rooms with 1 king bed each. He gave me the door codes and pointed me to the rooms. I looked in both rooms, threw some snacks on one of the beds for my friends, and threw my stuff down and sat down for a minute in the other room. I was planning to go out for an event and some food, but staff knocked on my door just a few mins after I walked in and said he may have to relocate me to another room with 2 queens, he was figuring it out with his manager. I was understanding at first. He then returned and said that another guest reservation specifically wanted one of those 2 rooms, so he might have to relocate me to a completely different hotel, which I expressed my displeasure over. I had already ordered some food for delivery as well. Just before 10 pm, staff came to my room and said he had made a reservation for us at another hotel, and that we had to go there. He had removed my snacks from the other room, which there were now guests in. Staff refused to compensate me for my ride I needed to the new hotel, which was about 1.5 miles away by street. He did not offer any kind of compensation in any way, and I barely received an apology. 0/5, stay away.
