Worst experience at this price point. Do not stay
We chose this over the Raddison Blu which had similar ratings and price point. We booked for five nights, but cancelled after the first night and moved to the Raddison Blu. Why? This hotel bills itself as 5 star, but it is anything but. The rating is from 2005. The beach facilities and pool are beautiful, but the service is rude and combative, and "all-inclusive" is anything but. Meals are available in the dining room and beer and wine are available. - We had two Tunisians in a large group of foreigners in D'Jerba for a wedding. One of the dining room staff got in a verbal altercation with one of the Tunisians because a group of four pushed two tables together for dinner (see picture). The rest of our group pushed five tables together with no issue. We went to the front desk and asked to speak with the manager who refused to speak with us. - It was a normal hot summer day and the air conditioning was not sufficient to cool either the hotel or the rooms. At 10:30PM, our room was over 85F/29F. We called the front desk and the A/C technician came two hours later. He charged the system with A/C and we woke up to a huge puddle of water on the floor. - The wine is the cheapest Tunisian wine available and is pretty terrible. You can order better Tunisian wines, but they charge per bottle twice what you can buy for in the local market. If you are in a group, they will not serve a bottle. The dining room does not have enough water or coffee cups. AM Wait staff rude

Solo female travelers get harassed non stop by the staff to a point I had someone finding me on social media after looking at my name on the check in papers. They don’t speak English, all they do is smile without understanding a word you say and the gym was the dirtiest gym I’ve ever seen. Also, the place is for older couples only so going alone is extremely boring. My trip to Djerba was almost ruined because of this hotel as I booked a tour around the island and the person booked me a tour with a person who doesn’t speak any English. Total waste of my time and I could not explore the island as I could not find a last minute tour. The check in took four hours and communicating with them on their email is a waste of time! I tried multiple times to communicate so they would know about my early check in and late check out! None of it was done. The all inclusive thing isn’t for all of their restaurants and the hotel does not look like a 5 star at all! At least not to me. I would never stay in this place again.

booked a suite, got something else, rude reception
overall it was a great stay, HOWEVER, I booked a suite through hotels.com with pictures showing the red suite, instead, I was given a blue one which is totally different with the one on hotels.com after I checked in late at night, I informed the reception that it's not the room I booked, the next day I went to the reception and asked for the suite I booked, however, the rude reception lady working on the same shift with Mr. Nouredin claimed that it's not the suite we booked and she was yelling at me and my wife that it's my mistake not their's while I provided the pictures of the suite while I booked but Mr. Noureddine her colleague knew it's their fault but he couldn't do anything, anyway, I paid for the extra to get the suite I wanted with the private jacuzzi as it was a surprise for my wife. the reception lady didn't even say hello or asked about our stay or how is everything going as if she was mad that we paid the extra and got the suite we wanted. it was our honeymoon stay and I did inform the hotel about it but they didn't prepare any kind of floral decoration or surprise for us (they had our booking 2 weeks before), the food, however, was great and most of the staff are great especially the suite maid. the hotel also had enough space to park a car while I was in a rush and it was very cold outside, but the hotel security asked me to park the car far from the reception while I was staying on off-season and absolutely no buses to enter or leave the hotel.

We reserved four double rooms for four people. One in our group tried to check in and he was denied entry because he was delayed the day before and checked in a day late. They cancelled the reservation without any notice and our guest was stranded until we made a big fuss about it. Even then the staff was argumentative and unaccommodating. Very disappointing.

This was not a good experience whatsoever. Every activity we could possibly want to sign up for was sold out upon arrival, and the staff would make no exceptions or accommodations to help us enjoy our experience. This hotel is for people who want to visit Tunisia but have no interaction with the local population or culture -- it's for older retirees and xenophobic people. Further, the hotel lists certain offerings that turn out to be completely fabricated. For example, what was listed as a "late riser" breakfast at the Blue Flamingo restaurant was actually just an employee in a chef's hat who spoke no English, who handed us a plate of cut tomatoes.

Poor management, ok overall.
Stay was ok. Poor management and they will it give you the same room your booked online. The hotel has one restaurant only for all inclusive. Then you are allowed to book one reservation per stay at a special restaurant but you can never have a spot at this restaurants because they say it’s booked all the time.

Très bon hôtel, surtout si tout est compris. Le responsable de l’hôtel fait le nécessaire pour vous satisfaire, comme il a su le faire pour que j’aie une chambre calme (quelques chambres donnent sur la rue en impasse, bruit du vieux scooter à 1h30 puis camions de transport de melons et pastèques dès 5h30), et en plus de plus grand confort sans augmentation de prix. Je recommande donc cet hôtel

Le buffet est d une grande qualité et très varié l établissement est propre, le personnel très agréable. Nous y retournerons. Seul petit bémol la température de la piscine intérieure et des jacuzzi était un peu basse pour un séjour au mois d'avril où malheureusement les températures extérieures étaient trop fraîches pour profiter des très belles infrastructures extérieures. Excellent séjour !

Les serviettes ne sont pas changées tous les jours+ le personnel n est pas très sympathique nous avons demandé de nous dresser une table pour 6 donc de rapprocher une table de 2 à une table de 4 ce qui nous a été refusé le serveur très énervé nous a dit : si tout le monde fait ça on va pas s en sortir !!!!! Et il y a très peu d'animation on s ennuie

Le service et l'accueil sont irréprochable et le cadre de l'hôtel très agréable. La plage est nettoyé tous les jours. Les chambres sont agréables et bien décorées et le service parfait, dommage que l'insonorisation laisse à désirer entre les chambres et qu'il manque une porte pour isoler la zone nuit du couloir. le gros point noir est la qualité de la restauration. Si indéniablement l'équipe de cuisine se donne de la peine pour la préparation des plats, la qualité des produits de base laisse grandement à désirer. les vins et les alcools compris dans le "all-inclusive" sont imbuvables. Dommage pour un 5*

Une très belle surprise en terme de service client : une suite junior qui ne convenait pas à l’arrivée en terme de vue mais la Direction a immédiatement cherché une solution et la suite a été magnifique. Toute l’équipe était attentive à ce que le séjour soit réussi. Ils sont agréables, souriants et d’une véritable gentillesse. Un dîner de réveillon incroyable (huîtres, langoustes, …mais aussi divers chanteurs et un spectacle de danse du ventre). Chaque soir nous avons eu la chance d’écouter un groupe différent, entraînant de nombreux pas de danse ! La plage est parfaitement entretenue devant une mer superbe. 2 espaces piscines distinctes avec des transats agréables. L’hôtel est de petite hauteur et les espaces divers donnent l’impression d’être dans un hôtel de taille moyenne plutôt qu’un énorme complexe, ce qui est parfait. En conclusion je recommande très vivement un séjour dans l’hôtel.
