Historic wine property in Provence
Ideal for large family holidays and events (engagement party, wedding, birthdays, Christmas holidays, etc.), your group will be close to everything when you stay at this beautiful and vast yet intimate former wine-property, located near Avignon.
Set in an authentic village in the triangle between Uzès, Avignon and Nîmes, conveniently close to the new hi-speed train TGV direct to Geneva and Paris, this historic manor-house has been splendidly renovated, conserving all of its original features and style.
The pool area has ten deck chairs and a two-person long sofa. There are two parasols and a dining table outdoors that can seat 18 people. There is also a dining table on the terrace that seats ten people.
AC Main house: There is one AC unit for cooling the top floor penthouse. There is AC in the kitchen and living room. There is an AC unit in the garden studio (the Orangerie) and there is one AC unit in the winery outbuilding that has three bedrooms and two bathrooms. There is no AC in the first floor bedrooms. These have shutters and curtains and stay cool if these are kept closed during the hot summer daytime.
Private chef
We work with a very talented bilingual private chef. She gets very busy in the high summer season, so please tell us in advance should you need her services. You will make tailored arrangements for your event directly with her. Private tour bus, wine-tasting also available upon request. There is a separate reception room in the property that is available for rent separately. Please enquire with the manager for further details; the separate listing is available online.

An absolutely gorgeous property - even more beautiful than the pictures show. We stayed with a big group of friends and had a fantastic time. Anousheh and her team were super easy to deal with and so helpful, and were able to organise a wonderful private chef with them who we couldn’t recommend enough.We will absolutely be back in future.
It’s nice place to stay. The host is very friendly and everything was as it was described on before. The garden is beautyful and safe for children of all ages. Some minor negative points:- not all room have airconditioning- there is big and nice bar inside but this was closed for guests and could only be opened gor the price of 1400/dayOverall, would book this place again
Perfektes Haus für eine große Gruppe aus Familie und Freunden
Wir waren mit 7 Parteien und insgesamt 12 Personen da.
La Bastide ist ein tolles Haus, dass sich hervorragend für eine Familienfeier eignet. In den 5 Zimmern im Haupthaus und im Seitenhaus kann man gut 6 Erwachsene Parteien unterbringen. In der Winery sind 3weitere Schlafzimmer, die allerdings keine Fenster nach Aussen haben und eher für Kinden und junge Erwachsene geeignet sind. Die Betten waren bequem, die Decken jedoch etwas zu warm. Die Lage an der Strasse bringt etwas Verkehrslärm mit sich, was in den Zimmern zur Strasse hin etwas störend war, aber erträglich.
Die Badzimmer sind alle sehr modern, top sauber und sehr funktionabel. Im Haupthaus sind insgesamt 2 Duschen und zwei Wannenbäder. in den dependances jeweils ein Duschbad.
Die Küche und das große Wohnzimmer sind ein echtes Zentrum der Anlage, in der sich auch große Gruppen sehr wohl fühlen. Die Ausrüstung der Küche lässt kaum etwas zu wünschen übrig und man kann sehr gut auch für viele Personen kochen. Insbesondere die Topmoderne Profiküche in der Winery mit großen Kitchenaid Backöfen ist gut, um zB für viele Gäste Backofen- Gemüse oder Kartoffen zu machen.
Die Terasse war für uns 12 gut, mehr Personen müssten dann auf die Wiese gehen oder vor - oder in- die Winery. Die Aussenstühle waren etwas unbequem, wir haben dann bessere aus der Winery geholt.
Den großen Festsaal in der Winery haben wir nicht gebraucht.
Der Pool ist top und war gut geheizt, sodass wir ihn wegen des warmen Wetters auch gut nutzen konnten.
