"The GILMORE HOTEL is our go to place when we are in Alaska. Anthe greets you at the front door and you are swept away in old world, charm and hospitality. The staff always greets you with a smile and is ready to assist with anything that may come up along the way. We like the front of the hotel because the views are stunning and they change daily due to the cruise ship traffic. The rooms include historic detail complemented by modern finishes. The hotel does not have an elevator, so be sure you don’t skip leg day at the gym before you visit! Annabelle‘s restaurant is part of the building and is not to be missed. The crabcakes are delicious, the halibut is the best I have had and make sure that Tiffany is your waitress. She was fantastic and operated like a well oiled machine not missing a chance to make every meal an experience you want to have again and again. I am already missing my time in Ketchikan and am looking forward to planning my next visit!"

"This place was so clean, cozy and relaxing! We loved our stay. Everything is beautiful, you can really tell they put a lot of love into the details. We showed up on a beautiful day, enjoyed sitting on the deck and watching all the activities on the dock and harbor. The next day we watched a storm roll in, it was just as fun. We will look for this spot again!!"

About a block from bus stop for easy car-free rides to the Walmart, Creek Steet, etc. (Short walk to beautiful water views and perfect sunsets (if you're lucky like we were). "This waterfront property has spectacular views! You might even see some eagles soaring nearby. It feels like a home away from home. Clean, comfortable and peaceful. The on-site laundry and outdoor grill are a bonus. The location is close to everything Ketchikan has to offer - hiking trails, beaches, native sites, dining and shopping. The communication with the host was timely and informative.I would stay at this property again and recommend it to family and friends."
