The Gilmore Hotel is a historic hotel conveniently located in downtown Ketchikan. The staff are friendly and accommodating. The rooms, while dated, are clean and comfortable.

The building was turn off the century, old, but very charming. The staff was friendly and helpful as well. Location great, right where all the cruise ships dock. Just choose a room with ocean view to see all the action.

It’s old but has charm. The water is a bit funny in the shower but it’s hot. Definitely okay for a night or two as the location is great for exploring central Ketchikan

It’s a great location and a very friendly staff. Wifi worked really well too. Bed was surprisingly comfortable. Bathroom was a little cramped and not well ventilated, but all was clean and functioned well. Annabelle’s (the attached restaurant) had a great selection of food.

Location was great! Close to restaurants, shops, and sights. Free shuttle to/from airport/ferry. Room was clean and smelled nice. Staff was very friendly. Didn’t have hot water one day and fixtures were very dated but otherwise would recommend.

The Gilmore is a very old but well kept up hotel in downtown Ketchikan. Can’t beat the location- right on the Main Street. Quiet. My room didn’t have a great view but the great location was so good!! Staff was very nice. They paid for taxi to and from the airport ferry!! Restaurant Annabelle’s was next door and had good food!!

We loved the Gilmore! The history, the location, the cozy beds, and the great hard working staff. Hats off to Jim at the front desk, he was so sweet to us and helped us get around and shop for local fish. It was a fun outing, thanks to Jim! And because of Jim my family will enjoy fish from Alaska when we get home.

This property is very old and in need of renovation. The building is a cool historical building from the early 1900s, but the room offerings are poor with old slumping mattresses and poor ventilation. We arrived on a warm week in Ketchikan and it was extremely stuffy and hot in the rooms. The area was loud, but close to coffee and one of the only restaurants open after cruise ships depart, so that was good.

We really enjoyed staying at the Gilmore! Our room was comfortable and we loved being able to watch from our window the cruise ships come and go. The staff went above and beyond to help us stay a bit longer when our flight was cancelled.

Conveniently located in the downtown area. It is a hotel with a history, so a little tired in spots, but very friendly staff and a clean environment. It was just a one night stopover before getting on a boat.
