"Altogether a lovely room and super service. The only let down was the surrounding areas, many dilapidated buildings in the area. In terms of all other parts. Kept me informed, incredibly attentive and the cleaning service was top class. The buildings inside are very well maintained but the outside area was poor. 10 out of 10 service, 10 out of 10 for inside the building. 4 out of 10 for surrounding areas. Not under his control but a obvious area of concern and turn off."

"Roy hotel is in a good location where từ about 1 minute walk to local bus stop snd about 8 minutes to the train station where we can get a 10 minutes ride to the central areas of Athens. There are many coffee shops around in the early morning hours ( open at 6 am)."

"While it is true the area is a little run down, it is perfectly safe to walk around day and night. Like London, Athens does have areas which are run down but still safe. The hotel itself is great. Friendly staff, decent rooms and a good restaurant. For what I paid, I have no complaints!"

"Check in/out was smooth with no contact. The size of the room was good. USB charging ports installed. Upon arrival I Tried to book a parking but the WhatsApp message was ignored. However they had parking spots visibly available for the duration of my stay. Kitchen did not have a cutting knife. "
